The owners are local and this establishment is also locally operated. It may not look like much upon entry but this local fried chicken shop is leagues better than kfc. In fact kfc in our area shut down ! The fried chicken is awesome and they have an awesome scallop dinner as well. You will enjoy eating here if chicken and fried food is on the brain. Have fun.

If you're looking for tasty, home cooked meals and very good value, this is the place. Located just at the foot of the Campbellton bridge. Don't leave the plain, diner style decor fool you. These ladies work hard and serve good food. Excellent poutine!! I also ad spaghetti au gratin (neither dish was shy with the cheese)!

Never having been in Campbellton before I was totally unfamiliar with the area. I drove around the center of town a few times looking for a place to eat and saw this place on my several loops. It was the only place I found(I even went across the river into Quebec Province and did not see any "real" restaurants); I wish here had been more to choice from--I think that says it all. If you need to eat, go there; if you can hold-off to another city, do so.Thank you for your comment it must be why our restaurant is always full. .We have a very good reputation .People come from all over to eat our great food.We also received awards from Trip adviser last year so i don't think we are a place to go when there is no other place because judging from our customers review it tells a much different story.

Small unsuspecting location but big personality and flavor! The menu offers a good variety of meals, all day breakfast, sandwiches, pub foods, and assorted sides including what has to be the world's largest and best poutine! Very friendly staff and clean dining room. Well worth the short drive! Highly recommend!

This is the 3rd or 4th time weâve been there, each time is better than the last! Tonight it was phenomenal!!The appetizers; 3 way beet salad, root vegetable pickled salad was so delish! The main course; beef Wellington with prawns, vegetarian fettuccine was 5 star! Love love love this place!!!Thank you! Always a pleasure to have feedback from guest! See you soon then! :)

Pre booked a table for 13 people on the patio, well in advance which also included one wheelchair. Well trust me on this, the restaurant is not accommodating of wheelchair persons, also the senior gentleman behind the counter said we would not have the patio seating because he did not "write that down" We were all ushered to a table inside the lodge which was very disappointing and if we were not hungry after long drive - would have walked out. He would not even listen to us, oh well, these 13 persons and their friends will not be back again. Previous review said "fight for the patio" that is so true. Bonaventure Lodge for us next year

We could not find a lot of choice for 'non-fast-food' in this place! So.... 'Smoke On The Water' suited my wife & I down-to-the-ground.Our first encounter found a young guy enthusing us to dine with them and recommending the 'Special' MEAT LOAF. Lots of explanation went into describing its ingredients.Returning, we were warmly welcomed and certainly ordered the prior recommendation. Guys (more - the owners) were just as friendly and when the food arrived we found it to be substantial; good quality; and most tasty. (Maybe - to my liking - could have been served hotter and the plates warmed - but I am quite fastidious).All-in-all great meal - superb ambiance - fair price. THANK YOU.

What an excellent find in Campbellton. We were camping at Sugarloaf Provincial Park and we wanted a simple yet nice meal. This Pizza Delight offered Scores chicken, which I had and was delicious. There is a little area offering a bread bar where one can toast one's own garlic bread and there is also a salad bar. I particularly loved their desserts - my son had the cookie and ice cream on a skillet and I had the apple and ice cream on a skillet. We had eaten at a higher end restaurant the night before in Quebec City and Pizza Delight put them to shame with their desserts. Also the service was excellent and swift. I would return here anytime.

We were there for dinner August 23rd.They probably could have used another server but our service was still very good.The food was good. My haddock fish & chips was an excellent choice & I was pleased that I ordered the one piece rather than the two piece. The haddock was a very generous portion. While nothing else about our two meals was outstanding there was nothing bad either.

When you ask for a veggie pizza at Al's Pizza they only put on certain veggies, and if you wish to have all the veggies they serve, they ask for a higher price, not fair, all other pizza restaurants that we go to, when you ask for a veggie pizza, they put on all the veggies that they serve. So we didn't go back to Al's Pizza.
