Food is bad and same as service. Gave us cold and burnt pancakes. It’s as hard as rock. Not so happy with the meal we had. Asked for ket hup and creamer and it took them long time to give until our coffee went cold. Asked for a medium well egg and gave us runny. Ugggh not a good place to eatHello there. We apologize that your recent experience with us was less than ideal. This is not typical of the level of service or food quality you can expect at one of our restaurants. My partner and I stopped here for lunch and both of us had the "Sandwich of the Day" which was a delightfully tasty brie on a baguette. The owners are both very friendly. Our sandwiches were delicious but they were not enough for our appetites, so we left a bit hungry. If you are not ravenously hungry and you like cheese, then this place is fantastic for a light lunch.

When we are in Meaford on a Wednesday night we always head to The Leeky Canoe. Excellent wings, outstanding service (Kathee), reasonable prices. I have had some excellent soup here but the chicken vegetable was over spiced with an herb I couldn’t quite identify. Didn’t care for it and it was removed from the bill! Now that is customer service!

Went with friends to Blue and lunched here. Pizza was delish. Tried the "May the Schwartz Be With You" with Montreal smoked meat, pickles and mustard. Delicious and just like a smoked meat sandwich on a pizza crust. The crust waslight and tasty. Others tried different pizzas. Be aware that there is no individual size pizza se two of us shared and that made the meal cost very reasonable. Waitress was very personable. I would go back there.

Went to the Mill for lunch and waited over 45 minutes before they came out with our lunch and gave it to the NEXT TABLE! About 10 minutes later they realized what happened and the waitress did apologize for the mix up and said they were rushing our order. After 15 more minutes we just got up and left. The hostess asked if we would like to speak with the manager and we said yes. But she made us wait as well and so we walked out.

We visit this area regularly, and since finding this place have difficulty staying away from it :-) They have a great quality coffee brewing, and their baked goods are so tasty. Highly recommend the cinnamon rolls and also their unique chop suey rolls are great too.

Good serving sizes, fine ambiance and service. Menu had gluten-free and vegetarian as well as meat, chicken choices. Excellent burger!!! Lovely baby kale salad with crisp chick peas, bacon and tasty dressing. Great for families or couples. Street parking and well located in Meaford. A lovely area to walk with waterfront nearby.

Quick lunch stop at Bruce Wine Bar today, served by Katie and everything was wonderful as expected. Pizza and salad was perfect as well as Katie's attention, despite being the only server. My Canadian cousins wanted to visit the Dam Pub so we did on a visit to Thornbury. The young woman server was friendly and nice and the prices reasonable. However, my ‘Club Sandwich’ resulted in an upset stomach. The guacamole on the top half of the ciabatta was black with herbs of some sort and not the fresh green colour of the avocado that my cousin had as a side. The chips accompanying the sandwich were overcooked little bits of potato. The chicken was moist and tender. My husband enjoyed his shaved beef sandwich and my cousins enjoyed their meals. The beer was enjoyed by the two men.

We booked a table for a Friday evening at 6:00pm for 30 guests. Everyone in our party had separate bills for couples/individuals and we really enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. Our meal, as always was very good. Booking in advance with Toban was simple and we even were able to get seated on the patio as it was a beautiful evening. Thank you Northwinds team!
