This restaurant is a gem and best kept secret in the area of Pompei. Everything is made from scratch or grown in their property. The fresh baked mini-breads (3-4 kinds) served along with the croquettes were delicious. We ordered a la carte instead of the prix fixe as we are not big eaters. We ordered one seafood antipasto, one vegetable antipasto (I think itâs called âproduto di mi ortoâ, which means âproduce from my gardenâ), one seafood pasta and one seafood secondi (the fried pesca). Everything was delicious. The house wine is made by the chefâs father, Luigi! The seafood is of first quality and the freshest. The fried gamberetti melts in your mouth. The produce from his garden was literally at least 6 vegetables, each one so beautifully prepared and so tasty. As much as we wanted, we couldnât eat dessert as the dishes are well served and it was too much food for 2 of us. However, we took the liqueur, which was liqueur of artichoke made by Luigi! Fantastic! My daughter had a scoop of gelato de limone and it was the best gelato Iâve ever tasted (after eating lots of them throughout Tuscany). This is a true family restaurant with genuine Italian hospitality. I think Luigi doesnât speak English, but not to worry, because there are always a way of communicating when you share the passion for good food and when you have an open mind. You can watch the chef cook through the glassed kitchen, and he will appreciate if you to stop by to say Hello. Total bill came to â¬62, which was more than fair for the quality of food. They are so fair charging the water, wine and coberto, way below many places weâve been and even at our hotel. I think the prix fixe is btw â¬30 and â¬40, depending if you want meat or seafood. This is so reasonable, I canât emphasize enough until you taste it. This is food of Michelin grade, a true gem that canât be missed if you are staying in the Pompei area.

I have eaten a lot of pizza in my life and my expectations were very high but they were surpassed at Trammiere!A very informal no frills kind of place with a legendary pizzaiolo/host who made us feel more than welcome. Based on looks, you would not expect much, but on taste it delivers. Antonio really is a Maradona of pizzaoli. Best of all, not expensive at all. Well worth to get out of Napoli or visit after touring Pompeii.

La Rua "Pizze e Delizie is a takeaway pizzeria, rotisserie and bakery family business where all we do is purely HOME MADE with fresh and first choice products.
A quaint small local pizzeria. Family owned. Absolutely welcoming. We eat halal and they were most obliging to prepare vegetarian with washing all utensils and bakeware first and no mixing with any meat products. The kitchen is an open view one and one can see how fresh and clean everything is. The tastiest pizzas we had in Italy. The most welcoming of staff. Luv luv luv this place. A must for any stop in amalfi.

My husband and I went to this place for lunch, and the pasta was nothing short of phenomenal (possibly the best we've had in our entire trip). The staff were friendly and gave us an off the menu dish that blew us away. If you're after a cheap meal to make your day, look no further.

Don't be fooled by the title of Bistro, this is a proper restaurant with tableclothes and immaculate service. It's a little way out of Sorrento, go by taxi don't try to walk the road is quite dangerous and narrow. The kitchen is ambitious, the food beautifully prepared; the kitchen is open to the dining room so the food preparation is on show so quite theatrical. The food is strong on fish and seafood which is to be expected given it's location but meat is it's speciality. Extensive wine list, very friendly staff.

The Blu Stone Restaurant is a gourmet restaurant overlooking a beautiful terrace on the Gulf of Naples. Here you can make a unique and unforgettable culinary experience.
We stayed in a nearby hotel for 2 weeks and ate here three times. You can expect to pay about 50 euros each for a meal with wine: but it is worth every cent. My wife, an excellent cook and confirmed vegetarian, is understandably hypercritical of many restaurants that do not meet her high standards. But she declared that the Blu Stone served the best vegetarian dishes she has ever tasted! I also eat fish and the chef here is a true artist: we ate different dishes on every occasion and were disappointed with none. The place hardly needs our recommendation as it is obviously celebrated along this coast as many local Italians who have money are regular customers. The setting in the evening - watching the sun set over the Bay of Naples - is very attractive. But it is that food that most attracts us.

Well, except that it can't possibly get any better--at least, not in regard to a culinary experience. The food, the service, the ambience all contributed to a perfect experience. Our reservation was a bit earlier than Italians customarily eat, but we were seated right away by Linda, our very knowledgeable, gracious server (who, along with her sister, Caterina, does much of the restaurant's baking). Linda helped us with our order, and we were soon enjoying a wonderful starter--a fried squash blossom filled with cheese and accompanied with shrimp and fried. zucchini thinly sliced on a mandolin. Delicious. Followed that with mixed grill fish and a dish billed as "Neapolitan lasagna reinvented by the chef." Both were wonderful, but the lasagna was off the charts. Still dreaming about it. Tiramisu, an excellent lemon cake, and coffee rounded it all off. Chef Vito offers cooking classes, and after last night's meal, my wife is ready to sign up.

A family-run Italian Trattoria, where owners still make food like the old traditional Mediterranean kitchen, but surprising their guests also with modern versions. You can choose a large variety of dishes, we can guarantee the freshness of our products, y
You know you are in for a special experience when the chef/owner sits down with you before your meal to outline and discuss your menu choices. Tony chatted with us for a good 10 minutes about his former restaurant experiences in the Channel Islands, his experience with his current restaurant La Perla, and his obvious delight in people having a great meal at his restaurant. We shared three pasta dishes-ricotta ravioli with mussels and lemon to start, a buffalo mozzarella and tomato layered pasta, and a ragu pasta. All were artfully presented and delicious, with our favourite being the mozzarella with its rich sauce. Also deserving of mention is the tasty bread that accompanied the meal, with refills provided without asking. Although not produced on site, Tony happily provided directions to the local bakery so we could pick some up for our lunch next day.We sampled both the red and white "vino di Casa"-I'd choose only the red next time. It's a bit more upscale in price than you might expect from a neighbourhood type restaurant in a small town (albeit in a touristy region)-our shared pasta dishes ranging in the 13-15 euro range- but for the quality the bill at just over 60 Euros was a bargain.Highly recommended.
