Such a beautiful surprise! What a lovely place with a great host, Sylvio. Thank you for your warm hospitality! An organic farm with well treated animals, fresh figs, grapes, the sweetest tomatoes, pomegranates, prickly pears, lemons, limes... a happy, productive and fruitful farm. Dinner was lovely, the best Gnocchi I have ever in my life experienced, light, tasty and filled with a mozzarella centre, topped with sweet tomato and basil sauce. Oh to come back for!!

Arrived in Furore on the Monday, Visited Da Nicola on the Tuesday, returned on the Thursday, Monday & Following Friday got a takeaway for our last night in Italy! The pizzaâs are as fresh as they come, made in front of you and cooked in the fire oven. The size of the pizzaâs are big! Chips are big portions as well. Couldnât recommend this little local beaut of a restaurant enough. The staff are very kind and a couple of them speak good English! They do do other food than pizzaâs, lamb cutlets, salads etc. Defo worth a visit!!

We learned from our helpful and friendly waiter about the local bread that is dipped in water before eating. It is double baker to last for 1 to 2 years. The food was amazing in a fabulous setting, a renovated old stable.Thank you so much! We are really pleased about your words. Happy that you appreciated our food, our setting and our service. We can only wish in you to come back here soon and in the meanwhile wish you the best.

The restaurant doesn't have menus, so we just relaxed and went with the flow. Aperttizers were stuning and afterwards we were already full. We also ordered pasta and dessert. Everything was amazing. For wine, food and digestivo we payed 35 euros, which is very is really cheap for the quality you get.

Well, except that it can't possibly get any better--at least, not in regard to a culinary experience. The food, the service, the ambience all contributed to a perfect experience. Our reservation was a bit earlier than Italians customarily eat, but we were seated right away by Linda, our very knowledgeable, gracious server (who, along with her sister, Caterina, does much of the restaurant's baking). Linda helped us with our order, and we were soon enjoying a wonderful starter--a fried squash blossom filled with cheese and accompanied with shrimp and fried. zucchini thinly sliced on a mandolin. Delicious. Followed that with mixed grill fish and a dish billed as "Neapolitan lasagna reinvented by the chef." Both were wonderful, but the lasagna was off the charts. Still dreaming about it. Tiramisu, an excellent lemon cake, and coffee rounded it all off. Chef Vito offers cooking classes, and after last night's meal, my wife is ready to sign up.

I rate this as possibly the best pizza ever based on 1. The base- amazingly soft and doughy 2. Toppings- huge variety and good quality that are put on in perfect quantity 3. Happy friendly family run business 4. Price- you can get an amazing margarita for 3.5 eur and their best toppings for no more than 7 eur. This is a must try place if in the area. It's in a tiny residential place basically just in a house. Every pizza after this will be disappointing and now considered far too expensive for it's worth. Very happy family!

They serve a good portion of top notch grub for a very modest price. First day we picked up some cheese, bread, and croissants for the next day's meal. Another day, we stopped for some delicious and huge pannini and aranchini. Third time we stopped in for a lovely meat, cheese, melon antipasti platter a calzone (huge and only 3euro!) And some more fried goodness. And still will probably go back once more. And the owner and staff have been very friendly each time. A small hidden gem.

Treated myself to a solo lunch here in late September. Everything was perfect! Not only is the setting beautiful but the food and service is also incredible. My waiter Fernando suggested a meal of burrata, mozzarella and ricotta to start followed by a lobster spaghetti which was a special of the day. Fernando was very knowledgable and helpful so I took him up on his offer. He presented 3 lobsters to me at the table. I chose the blue lobster. He recommended a couple of ways he could serve it to me, for example grilled with vegetables, but I opted for the spaghetti. The food was amazing. The starter came with a bread which was similar to a pizza - it complimented the cheeses perfectly. The lobster was unreal! It was perfectly cooked - it was sweet but meaty. The service was perfect - very steady pace. Both Fernando and his colleague Luca were very friendly. They suggested for me a great glass of white wine to accompany my meal. My table overlooked a sea view of Positano. The restaurant is pricey but not pretentious in any way - very relaxed atmosphere. Worth spending extra - high recommended!Dear woodside27, grazie a million of time for such a beautiful review. I'm so happy that you have spend great time on our terrazza where the view is certainly incredible, but where we also try to offer quality food and the best attention to our Guests.Hopefully, you will be back in town soon; we would be honored welcoming you again to the Adamo ed Eva.Best Regards

After spending a week in Positano and eating at a different restaurant for every lunch and dinner, I can say that DâAielloâs Family exemplifies what I would describe if asked about an âauthentic Positano experienceâ.Located on the second floor of the small Hotel Savoia, the restaurant has approximately twenty tables on their terrace and a bit more than that inside. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, without being pretentious. We enjoyed wine, appetizers, pasta, seafood and even a very well-prepared steak. Everything was excellent, with pricing a bit below what we expected for food and service of this caliber. The wine list was not overpowering, but had a nice assortment of local wines for every price point. The service was professional, personal and engaging. Our waiter made us feel right at home and never âphoned it inâ as is so typical of tourist destinations.Highly recommend.
