Went there last night for dinner because our 2 suggested restaurants were closed on Monday. We were very lucky to go there. The restaurant is in a restored mansion, restored and decorated with period furniture. The food was superb and we got to tour the place before dinner. Sure beat coming back in the morning for a tour. My wife had the fillet and I had the chicken piccata - we recommend both. Food was great and portions were huge.

Our grandkids live in Jackson and we go through Vicksburg to see them. We always stop at this wonderful restaurant. The specials are always spectacular, the personnel friendly, and the ambiance great. You will not be disappointed by visiting this charming restaurant in Vicksburg. We had six people for lunch, were seated promptly and got our food quickly once it was ordered. Most of us got the catfish. Portions were large (about six catfish strips per order) and very good. French fries were crinkle fries and werenât very crispy. I heard the crawfish étouffée was good. Thank you so much for the positive review, hope to see you again real soon.

This has really deteriorated in the changes of management over the years. Had fried seafood platter. All cooked in same grease and bad. Fish Texture was like no catfish I have ever eaten. The shrimp & oysters were not as bad but we're not good. Won't be back.
