Brothers, Steven and Patrick O'Bryan grew up together in Louisiana. They always had a love for food, especially authentic Cajun cuisine! They enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well, which is what led them to open up their first restaurant,
At first, not many knew of this hidden gem in our city; but now, the word is out. A quaint but casual atmosphere with excellent food and a unique menu. Grab a drink at the bar before dinner, and don't be surprised if the owners come by to check on you!Lisa, Thank you for dining with us. We are so glad that you found your way to our little corner of the city and you enjoyed your menu selections. Southern hospitality and exceptional service is our priority. We appreciate you for letting us know how we are doing.

Love the decor and the setup of this restaurant. Great service from the time you enter to the time you leave. Food is spectacular. Great flavor and properly proportioned. My only complaint was that it was noisy. Everyone seemed to be talking so loud as to talk over the table next to them which made the place loud.Thank you for your review! Yes, it can get noisy when we are slammed, such as when we have a pre-concert crowd. It is not typically that loud. Thanks again for your wonderful review of our food, service and decor!Steve S. A Lafayette Tradition serving the "Best Hamburgers in Town" Since 1947! Won awards locally, statewide as well as nationally recognized!
Grew up in Lafayette and have been going here as long as I can remember. Something really special about these burgers! Wish I had the recipe so I could make them at home in Texas! My mom used to order over the phone then drive to the side lot and honk the horn, then curb service! Great memories! Wish they still did that!! Lol. PLEASE donât change a thing about this place! â¤ï¸ Judice Inn Thank you for the great review! We appreciate your patronage

Johnson's Boucaniere continues the Johnson family tradition of making Boudin, sausages, and tasso's once sold at the original Johnson's Grocery (since 1937. Add to that outstanding smoked pulled pork, brisket, and chicken and other smoked meats and charcu
After reading about Johnsonâs Boucaniere from multiple sources, I had to try it myself. I was delighted. An unpretentious place to get a delicious sandwich is what I discovered. Rather than recommend one, I suggest that you look over the menu and choose the one that most entices you. I ended my visit by purchasing some smoked sausage and boudin to take home.

DON'S SEAFOOD More Than Eighty Years of Exceptional Seafood South Louisiana locals and visitors have been drawn to DON'S authentic Cajun cuisine for more than 80 years. Menu selections including traditional Landry family recipes, and more recent original
I was looking forward to visiting Don's after an absence of at least a year. It's just that...it holds nostalgic value for many travelers like myself (and Lafayette residents) but doesn't really measure up in seafood quality. My shrimp gumbo was just muddy water, it would appear, with a few morsels of tiny shrimp. The seafood platter featured small shrimp in a variety of preparations, but with the common ground of....average, at best. It was all bland and tepid. A disappointment. On the bright side, drinks were stiff and service was attentive. I wish Don's delivered on quality to match the semi-steep prices and the expectations of first-rate food.

Servings were smaller, prices higher, waiter ruder, air conditioning way too cold. Liked it on previous trip but would not recommend or return.

This place is in a gas station. However, dont let that deter you from going. First, the place was very clean. As for the food: The pepper jack stuffed boudin balls are fabulous. I highly recommend these. The cracklin were well seasoned, but frankly a disappointment. They seemed like they were under the heating lamp a long time. Had they been fresh, they probably would have been great. The other disappointing thing was the line and time to check out. This took too long for the type of establishment. I bought smoked boudin to take home and it was a hit. We all found it well seasoned and flavorful. Same with the regular frozen boudin. Very pleased with boudin items.
