The service impeccable. The wine.. Overpriced. The food.. Pretentious but tasty. On Rodrigues the local tastes and food have a uniqueness that could be exploited and fusioned using more imagination. Simple local food fairly priced, served with flair, would attract locals as well as the odd tourist looking for that extra touch.Empty tables will not pay the bills, but as a change to local fare, if you can afford it, why not. After returning from a nice trek in the trail along the ocean starting from St Francois or whenever you are in the area, this is a great place for fresh fish and seafood. Casual & very friendly staff.

Friendly staff in a stunning setting. A resort style hotel with pool and beach restaurant/bar leading onto a magnificent beach. Situated on the east of the island the strong winds make it ideal for kite surfers and other wind activities. Rental of most equipment available and fully equipped facilities.
