I loved eating here I really did but today I was a horrible experience. I came on Tuesday like I always do but today I came Gumbeaux's and the buffalo shrimp was so soggy and cold so the manager came and they gave me back the same shrimp just re dipped in sauce so that made it extra soggy. I've never had this happen to me. I work in food service so I know what re dipped and recooked food taste like. The manager came back and we complained again and she offered a desert. I just wanted some fresh shrimp everyone at my table had cold shrimp so they gave us three dollars off but we didn't care about the price we just wanted hot fresh shrimp so the manager came back and us some shrimp after we asked her to put sauce on the side and came back with hot shrimp but the sauce was freezing cold at this point I just paid and left I didn't even want the food. The manager name was jackio aka jacolyn she is horrible

We are a full service restaurant serving a traditional meat and 2 at lunch that also serves a variety of burgers, sandwiches and salads. More of an upscale diner at night.
It was actually awful. My husband ordered there famous homemade meatloaf and it was nasty. My food was pretty gross tooI am sorry that you did not enjoy your food. When was your visit? I know it's not an excuse but the last Wednesday we were open before the Fourth Dwight did not make the meatloaf so if that is when you were there, we apologize. Please give us another chance to make this right. Again,I apologize that you were not pleased.

What is a "Snoball" you ask? It's a massive, delicious cup of soft, fluffy, New Orleans's style shaved ice offered in over 100 flavors, including several sugar free options! Not to mention TONS of great toppings including marshmallow cream, whipped cream,
I first encountered Pelican's Snoballs in Slidell, LA two years ago. Thankfully they have franchised this distinct New Orleans treat and it's made it near my home in Georgia! I had the traditional blue bubble gum and my husband chose peach. It felt like I was at home for those 30 minutes consuming my snoball! Such an inexpensive treat on a hot day to enjoy! I am going back today to get another :)

This could be a cute neighborhood cafe, but on first visit I was disappointed that our lunch selections, Chicken & Waffles ($7.95) and Vine Brisket ($8.95), were served on plastic "to-go" containers with clear plastic covers and plastic utensils. Not what I expected. Maybe okay for kids, but if this restaurant wants to attract women, couples or a business lunch crowd, it is sorely lacking in presentation and food flavor. I realize this is a fairly new venture, but how about some real silverware and dressing up the plate a bit. My Chicken & Waffles, one of their signature dishes, was dried-out chicken laid on top of a plain waffle, served on plastic. The Vine Brisket entree has a great description but was also overpowered by the plastic. This restaurant is cute and could have potential. Needs real plates and real silverware. The person at the counter taking the order acted bored and indifferent and didn't know the menu, which also didn't help. If I met a friend for lunch, this place unfortunately would not be my choice, because for starters, I'm just not going to eat lunch with a plastic fork and knife. I could do that at a drive through.
