It is actually located in Watson. We needed a quick bite to eat. You can tell that it's a local place. Nothing fancy, but the food is really good. The service was fairly quick and everyone was very nice. We would eat there again.

We stumbled on Pot and Paddle in Denham Springs as we were detoured off the interstate in Louisiana. Visiting mid afternoon, the restaurant looked desertedâ not what you want in a restaurant! We ordered a pork and sausage jambalaya dinner (served with two sides) and a chicken and sausage gumbo. For under $20, we had created a virtual all-you-can-eat buffet of South Louisiana goodness. Our jambalaya plate included a serving of 2+ cups of well-seasoned sausage and pork with soft, smokey browned rice. The gumbo was rich and thick with chicken and sausage, with that deep roux-based flavor that makes Louisiana foods famous. We left filled, and with left overs. For us, a wonderful, unexpected find and great lunch.

A kid friendly establishment, known for tasty burgers, signature sandwiches, steaks, catfish and shrimp, Big Mike's is located near l-12 just off Range ave. in the bustling heart of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Stop in for lunch or dinner, or just to enjoy
Stopped into Mike's on a Sunday night. Restaurant was half full, but the noise from the sports bar was very loud. I had the Shrimp & Corn soup for starters. It was thick and creamy. I liked it. Unfortunately, I only took two spoons full when my Big Mike's Platter arrived. The platter consisted of Shrimp, catfish, boudin balls and served with your choice of French fries or baked potato. I got the fries. Everything on the platter was good. The shrimp and catfish were lightly battered and fried. They tasted fresh. The fries were shoestring and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed my meal and would go back.
