The development of the modern city is closely connected to the Bata Shoes company and its social scheme, developed after the First World War. From 1949 to 1990, the city was renamed Gottwaldov.

PÄkná cukrárna/restaurace. NabÃzà sladké i slané palaÄinky, poháry, mÃchané nápoje alko/nealko, kávu, Äokoládu, zmrzlinu, zákusky, dorty... NabÃzà možnost snÃdanÃ. DneÅ¡nà návÅ¡tÄva byly bohužel poznamenaná malým poÄtem obsluhy, panà toho mÄly nad hlavu, protože po dÄtském pÅedstavenà v divadle se skoro vÅ¡ichni stali návÅ¡tvnÃky pÅilehlých cukráren. VÃce než půl hodiny jsme Äekali na objednánà a pak dalÅ¡Ã půl hodinu na objednané poháry. PÅedpokládám, že to bylo způsobeno nepÅipravenostà na nedÄlnà pÅedstavenà pro dÄti. Poháry byly moc dobré.

Cafe is situated next to the theatre, in historical building. Itâs really nice and has excellent service. We ordered coffe, tea and two pices of cake. 2 euro each. Everthing was very tasty!

Do teto kavarny jsem chtela zajit už davno, ale az dnes se povedlo.Kavarna je krasna, moc pekne prostredi, obsluha mila a usmevava. Kaficko vyborne, boruvkovy cheesecake taky.Cokolada je kostka cokolady rozpustena v teplem mleku, ne kazdemu sedne. Tiramisu hutnejsi, nez bych si predstavovala, ale jsem narocna :-)Slecna se teprve zaucovala, tak nejakou tu chybku chapu, rozhodne se snazila.Navsteva to byla moc pÅÃjemná, urcite prijdeme zase. 4,5 hvezdicky

This is a fun and often busy college pub, but contrary to its name, it is in the basement of a building, and it has no windows. It also allows smoking, which makes for a bad combination. You will probably have fun at the Loft, and it is a great place to meet people, but you will leave smelling of smoke.

Small cozy café with big windows. You can take rest in comfortable armchairs and forget about the world around for a coffee break. Many interesting photographs are on the walls. The coffee is good in Italian style.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this little vege gem in Zlin. The service is fabulous, with staff going out of their way to help us understand their menu. The food was to die for, simple healthy food full of flavour- with plenty of vegan options! We sat outdoors in the garden which was simply wonderful. I really hope we get a chance to go again before leaving Zlin.

Came there for a quick coffee and a dessert. Flat white very tasty. Chocolate cheesecake amazing. Staff friendly. I will definitely come back.
