Things to do in Youngsville
Brunch after church today at Bourrée in Youngsville. French Toast flight. Left to right: bananaâs Foster sauce, regular French toast waiting for application of butter and maple syrup and lastly topped with blueberry compote. Delicious and worth the wait. Kathy had chicken and waffles, said it was great. I would give the review five stars but we waited nearly an hour for our food. Last Sunday our wait time for a table was quoted as one hour, we left. I think once they iron out some "back of house" issues they will be a five star rating. I WILL return!

This is some very good food and a low key location. I had been hearing about this place for months and wasn't quit sure where it was but I was actually passing by it daily. When I finally realize what it was and had a taste of the food I was hooked. I been eating there every since...
This small food shop is huge on flavor. The boudin biscuits with Steen's syrup were to die for. The kickin turkey club was very tasty. We finished up with some of their 24 flavors of icecream which beat Bluebell in taste. Will definitely be back.

Serves breakfast only. AKA Broken Egg Cafe.
Since I've been diagnosed with a gluten allergy, going out has been a challenge.I read on a gluten-free website Another Broken Egg is one of the best places to eat. Yes, it did not disappoint.I opted for gluten-free pancakes with an order of bacon and eggs. I had the one with the fresh fruit and whipped cream. The pancakes were so good I could not tell if they were g/f or not! Yes, that good! The bacon was cooked crispy, not burned, and eggs were good. Their coffee was excellent as well.My only complaint; since we were dining the first time, we were given a complimentary order of beignets. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy them b/c they were not g/f. My dining partners did enjoy them and yes, they looked good. Since they have an expansive g/f menu, seems it would be easy to make a g/f treat for first-timers.Would try again. Thanks for stopping in and taking the time to write this review! We are thrilled you enjoyed our Gluten Friendly Pancakes and hope to see you again!
Nice neighborhood donut shop. There are tables inside if you want to eat there or you can order at the drive through window.
