Modern European style Cafe & Bistro
We stopped for lunch at Pain D'Avignon and really enjoyed what we had, especially the desserts of an eclair and a key lime tart. The service is a trifle confusing. There is table service, which involves the entire menu and allows the diner to eat in the nicer part of the eatery and counter service which involves pre-wrapped sandwiches and pastries and has okay seating indoor or out (I think that I have this right, but as I said, I found this confusing.)

Three of us had a delicious meal at the Spoon and Seed. Though it is not a fancy restaurant ("rustic, down to earth" might do) the service was excellent and the food was delicious with large portions. We had to take two out of the three dishes home to enjoy an another day they were so plentiful. We had the Hippie Burger, Curried Chicken, and the Chicken Parm sandwich and none of us were disappointed in our choices. The restaurant is not your typical location for a Hyannis restaurant. It is neither in downtown Hyannis; nor is it in the mall or on Route 132. It is close to Independence Drive, which connects to Route 132. They are open Tuesday through Friday for breakfast and lunch, and Saturday and Sunday for brunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Check it out if you are in the Hyannis area for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

This cafe served wonderful coffee! The interior is electic and the staff were friendly. The food menu looked good but we had just eaten breakfast so didn't eat there but it all sounded good. Can recommend this cafe and it seemed to be the only really good coffee place in Hyannis. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit to the Common Ground. Thank you for the words of encouragement and for taking the time to wright a review!Next time bring your appetite with you! :)

Serving Breakfast All Day & Lunch year round. We host daytime and evening Private Events in the charming antique Sea Captain's home.
Walked in a hot day to an AC unit attempting to cool down an entire restaurant that was sweltering. Stuck with the traditional breakfast as certain menu items were as high as $18-20 for breakfast! Unexpected...not sure Iâd return. Wound up being $57 plus tip for 4 people sticking to a basic breakfast.

Visiting in area and stopped for breakfast 1st and 3rd days of our trip because it is soooo good here. My husband had omlet with veggies then 2nd day had grilled muffin which was awesome with bacon/egg platter and I had banana pancakes both times which are the best pancakes of any place we have been! Then later that day my husband realized his bank card was missing and only place used it was that morning at this place but they were closed so was a worrisome night but called 1st thing in am and someone had found it and turned it in and they had it in a safe place for us to pick so we had breakfast there for 3rd time in 4 days! The food, the service and atmosphere is above and beyond what we expected and very happy to have had 3 meals here on our trip, thank you!!

You know it's good when you think about the food for a year and then make a special trek to get there while on annual vacation. A "good friend" once introduced us to this place and now it's a "must do" when visiting the Cape. The cranberry walnut bread is mouth watering good. We are a walking advertisement for it, telling everyone we run into about how good it is. Their omelettes are great too. Overall, it's just a great breakfast establishment.
