Our food arrived about an hour after we ordered. We were a table of 4, should have been easy, no difficult orders, eggs, bacon, grits, toast, Wow!, even the manager was not sure what happened, we got a discount, but still not a good experience. Food OK.You should always expect the very best from us, and we apologize for failing to meet your expectations during your visit. Your feedback about our food and service will be taken very seriously by the team to ensure it does not happen again.

I recently visited New Orleans and had the opportunity to eat at Refuel Cafe. I was genuinely impressed with the customer service as well as the ambiance! I haven't even touch on the breakfast items that were ordered and my mouth is salivating just thinking of my dish. I ordered the Southern breakfast and the grits were the best I ever had despite the many travels I've completed in my time. The juevos ranchero were also a hit! Trust me when I say this is a place you must visit if you are in this area of New Orleans!

The croissants were fresh, buttery, and flaky - so good! The croissant with scrambled eggs with cheese and strawberry preserves reminded me of our breakfasts in Paris. The crepe Romanoff is a wonderful choice as well - a cinnamony crepe with fresh strawberries and just the right amount of Romanoff sauce. Everything in the pastry case looked delicious too. The parking lot is a little small, but there is additional parking nearby. If you are eating in, walk in and just keep walking down to the cash register where you order, then find a seat.

Typical diner breakfast: large portions, simple well cooked food. Waitress was friendly and attentive.

This cafe has the best breakfast in New Orleans and is worth the wait. I had the banana French toast and it was awesome...no syrup needed. Every one in my family had something different and said their food was great.

We had breakfast here this morning after a year's absence from the city, and it is as good as it was. As excellent, I mean. The omelette is still perfectly cooked and the mushrooms are nice and chunky; the buckwheat pancake, with banana, blueberries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar, is still my favorite restaurant pancake of all time. The broiled tomato is probably what a tomato most wants to become. The coffee is also excellent. The only fault is in the maple syrup, but then we live in upstate NY and get our syrup from our own trees. We are spoiled... . And as to the service: you couldn't ask for it to be nicer, friendlier, or more efficient. Of course, you could ASK, but you couldn't get it!

We are a counter-service cafe with a heavy emphasis on high-quality, fresh breakfast and lunch options. In addition to our cuisine, we carry a unique array of sustainable, micro-sourced coffees from Equator Coffee Co, and a wide variety of loose-leaf teas
Ummmmm WOWWWW!! Great Spot. Great Vegan Food. Great Service. This place was by far the best vegan meal I've had in New Orleans. They have tons of vegan options and offer no dairy milk for coffee...almond, soy and coconut. What the vegan ordered...Vegan Ranchero w/ Tofu Side of PotatoesVegan QuesoWhatâs the non vegans ordered...Pork Chop. Side of Biscuits w/ Peppered Jelly. Vegan Rancheros w/ an egg. The Vegan Queso was like nothing I've ever had. Perfect amount of spice and very creamy. This place doesn't disappoint. Great please for vegans and non vegans. Everyone will have a great meal at this place. They do not serve alcohol but they have great fresh juices. Do yourself a favor and come here. You will not be disappointed!!

Get the eggs in brioche! Mmmm! Staff is super friendly, and the food was warm and fresh-tasting. There's a small outside seating area where we enjoyed the lovely weather, but you can also eat inside if you want. Only downfall is the parking. There was construction when we went, so we had to park around the corner in the residential neighborhood, but it wasn't far away at all.

you cannot go wrong here. Shrimp and Grits, bananas foster french toast, corned beef hash with boudin and andouille. fresh squeezed juices, crazy lines on the weekend, but well worth it. sit ya self down next door and get a drank, and head to celebrity guest list.

Excellent breakfast, reasonably priced and the service was super! We had a selection, omelette, eggs with salmon, and the fried pancake balls. The grits were as good as we have ever had, even in Texas. Small place but worth a short wait.
