My last review of Terrain was not favorable. I am here to say we were pleasantly surprised at the upgrades recently. Let's start with the outdoor chairs. Your clothes will no longer be destroyed by their chairs. And they're comfortable too. The menu has been updated a bit in the last year but more importantly the quality and presentations are significantly improved. The wine choices were very good. The hummus appetizer was phenomenal. Absolutely wonderful presentation and delicious. Both my wife and I had salads with add ons and they were delicious. The scallops were outstanding and the steak was perfectly done and delicious. We are so glad that Terrain has upped its standards to where they were in the past. We will certainly be back again.
All of us living in Westport know The Organic Market as a treasure, offering the most delicious always fully organic foods, including hot entrees daily; endless varieties of cold foods, salads and sandwiches (seaweed salad, chicken salad, homemade humus, etc); freshest made on the spot fruit smoothies and vegetable juices; 4 daily homemade soups; and a fully stocked organic food store. The quality of the ingredients, the very flavorful preparations and the variety make this a daily stop for many of us who need our "fix" of delicious, excellent organic foods and juices along with the pleasure of saying hello to the wonderful proprietors and staff. Everything is ready to be taken out in smart containers that wont spill, but there are also 4 tables and 10 or so stools positioned around the juice bar. While prices are as expected for organic foods, If you watch all of the ingredients that go into making your green juice, you will be just amazed at what a deal you and your body are getting! It's about 1.5 miles off of I-95 Exit 18 in Connecticut (Take a left if you are heading north, or bear right if heading south on 95 onto the Sherwood Island Connector. Left onto the Post road after about 1/2 mile when the Connector ends. Go about 1 mile, with entrance to the shopping center on the right, immediately after you pass a Mobil station on your left). I only write reviews on places that I think are special that I want to share, and I promise this is worth the trip!
Where to eat International food in Westport: The Best Restaurants and Bars
It looks as though this market/restaurant will last at this location, where other restaurants have failed! Fresh food, fantastic soups and salads, seating for those who want to hang out, and easy takeout as well. This is the kind of place that Saugatuck has longed for!

Have stopped at Whole Food Market for a quick lunch while on a go. They have a great salad bar along with a hot dish bar. Food always fresh and healthy to eat. Try their pizza also. Great bake shop and the coffee is always fresh. Pete
