Discover Restaurants offering the best Cafe food in Wells, England, United Kingdom. The name Wells comes from the city's three wells dedicated to St. Andrew. Now there's a fun factoid to fill up your next awkward silence. In England's smallest city, you won't find the big summer crowds of nearby Glastonbury. Instead, you'll have more than enough room to sight-see as you please. And there are plenty of youth clubs to entertain the kiddies while you wander. The cathedral in Wells is the landmark attraction, but also check out the nearby Bristol Zoo Gardens and International Helicopter Museum.

Daniels Café & Sandwich Bar has a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. All meals are freshly prepared using high quality locally sourced suppliers.
Our first visit to Wells, and we chose to have breakfast at Daniels because it looked friendly, independant and it was busy. Great choice. My mushrooms on toast were delicious and huge portion too yum.Super-friendly service, lovely vibe, delicious and good value cooked breakfasts. Definately recommended.Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review of Daniels. We hope to see you again next time you visit Wells.

Nice setting but..... Called for a coffee which was served in a tiny cup and wasn't that good. £2.50. No larger sizes available. The diet coke was an alternative fair trade tiny can of around 200ml which cost £3. That is daylight robbery. Also slightly patronising treatment. My sweet heart.

First class breakfasts, first class hospitality all at a fabulously fair and low price. The breakfasts were served promptly, all piping hot with ingredients from the proprietors own farm.Being part of a working farm the cafeâs premises were a little unassuming from the outside, but we were warmly greeted at the entrance and once our breakfasts arrived it was just wow.Excellent sausages, amazing thick cut slices of bacon, free range eggs, homemade bread ........ need I go on ?Easily the best breakfasts ever. This place is highly recommended and we cannot wait to return in the future. Also, the farm shop has a fine selection of fresh meats from the farm and homemade pies to die for. At the end of the day this was a great find and I am happy to pass on our joy and satisfaction.

We were obviously aware of Wells Cathedral prior to visiting but what an impressive, inspiring structure. Late 12C and 13C construction beautifully maintained and adapted to modern worship and ideas. Amazing stained glass and unique Charter House with beautiful grounds surrounding the Cathedral. Tranquility abounds and history in abundance. Great bargains in the shop too!

Discovered this busy little cafe while walking into town having parked in Waitrose car park. Located on a street corner facing a church. Seating available both inside and out.I had a lovely cream tea complete with mini tea pot - tea tasted great very refreshing. Hubby had a fabulous coffee (a bit of a coffee snob complete with extra shots) - left very happy! Staff friendly, quick and efficient. Worth a visit - enjoy!

Great fresh in house cooked food and a warm friendly welcome. Perfectly situated in the Market Pace, Wells, in an historic building, overlooking the Town Hall and a stone's throw form Wells Cathedral.
Quite expensive when there is so much competition locally. Decent size cup for the coffee and not too much froth. Will it be my first choice cafe in Wells? Unlikely but certainly better than some of the franchises.

We regularly visit The Good Earth Restaurant for a really tasty lunch. We've been going for years. I especially love their curries/goulash type dishes with rice or quinoa. Garlic bread is thick, very garlicky & juicy - best I've ever hadDate oaties and the like are great tooI always find their food is delicious, really good sized portions and all very reasonably price.Service with a big smile tooI visit from Cheshire with my 91 year old Mum who lives in Wedmore - we both love The Good Earth and often arranged to meet friends there, plus the parking is really handy
