Upper Darby Township (often shortened to simply Upper Darby) is a home rule township bordering West Philadelphia in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. Upper Darby is also home to the Tower Theater, a historic music venue on 69th Street built in the 1920s. Upper Darby's population is diverse, representing over 100 ethnic cultures. The township hosts a range of housing types including densely populated rowhouse sections similar to houses in neighboring West Philadelphia, tree-lined neighborhoods of turn-of-the-century single-family houses and mid-century developments. It is Pennsylvania's sixth most populous municipality. Located just 2.8 miles from Center City (downtown Philadelphia), and houses the western terminus of the Market-Frankford Line of the SEPTA mass transit system of Philadelphia, with the location at 69th Street in the heart of Upper Darby's principal business district. Multiple trolley and bus lines connect the 69th Street Terminal to all major SEPTA lines of Delaware and Montgomery counties as well as Philadelphia.

We've been back here several times since I reviewed the Gran Caffe L'Aquila in downtown Philadelphia two years ago, And when a restaurant holds it's quality over that time, it deserves a fresh review and kudos for not losing its stroke. Since my last review was extensive, no need to be repetitious. Check out the menu. But better than menu items, this place has daily themed menus and great wine pairings inspired by regions in Italy. Sicily night this time. I strongly advise you to allow the server to guide you through the regional offerings and doubt you will be disappointed. And , of course, finish with the legendary gelato. our Amaretto Gelato with cookie was creamy and delicious. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Philadelphia and for that matter, on the East Coast. We even went back for brunch on the morning after our dinner. I'd say it is high-end, price-wise, but what's not pricey at great restaurants?

This really popular café has fantastic meals with great portions. My forest mushroom frittata was amazing! I recommend adding yourself to the Yelp waitlist; I heard walk-ins for 2 or 3 people were told a 60-75 minute wait-time at around noon/12:30 PM. Because it was so crowded, the waitstaff were a bit harried, but our waitress was also very friendly and was able to make accommodations when we wanted to customize a dish.

We came here for drinks, and their wine list is fairly extensive and comes with detailed descriptions of each wine, which I love. The kitchen had already closed when we arrived, which is unfortunate - when people are drinking, it would be nice to at least have small snacks (like peanuts) available, especially at an upscale bar/restaurant. Otherwise, though, this establishment was very nice.Thank you for visiting Tria Taproom, and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit! And thank you for the kind review. We had a real nice lunch here, while our grandson, a Drexel student, decided he preferred to have breakfast. The service was very good and the people were friendly. I like how bright and airy the place is. The food came quickly and was tasty. The great drawback to this place is parking. Because of its location actually adjacent to the Drexel campus, everything is street parking and the students have it all taken up. The food is a bit high and there isn't a real large variety, but you should find something that appeals to you
