My friend and I popped in for a light lunch - yes, the do light and healthy!- and it was superb fab food, lovely people and good prices. Tarkâs Dahl and Chickensaag paratha were delicious. We will be back. Highly recommenddd.

Become a regular since opened. Serve by far the freshest and best toasted teacakes whenever purchased. For a change they can consistently serve up poached eggs as I like them. Firm white but with soft yolk that bursts out on cutting. Eggsellent!!

We often go into Truro to do some shopping and now have the habit of going into this restaurant for lunch. The food is prepared and cooked to order and the hot vegetables are never over cooked but just right. We often have their roast or open topped pie of the day. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Just take a newspaper or book and be prepared to wait, you wonât be disappointed. There are also some rather comfortable sofas if you just want to pop in for a coffee and cake.

We stopped by The Cloisters for our afternoon Cornish Cream Tea after touring the Truro Cathedral. Ambience is pure cafeteria, but the Scones and Clotted Cream were delicious, and the location was convenient to the Cathedral. Full menu is also available for those seeking lunch.

About once a month meet up with friends for tea or coffee and there is always a nice atmosphere and buzz about the place. The drinks are consistently good and cakes are delicious. I particularly like the cheese scones with homemade soup. Will be back again next week.

Back to this cafe after several months. Not disapointed and food lovely, quickly served and excellent serice. Been here many times and never been disapointed. Our food was ordered and served very quickly at a busy lunchtime. Our dog was wellcomed and the lunch was as we expecte. The staff were lovely, even when a customer had a small mishap with a spilt item. Nothing was too much trouble, all cleaned up and a replacement was provided. Top marks for customer service. All food is excellent quality.Prices are good so what more do you want.Thanks for the review of our restaurant, repeat custom means a lot to me and my staff , hope to see you soon
