Myself and my partner ate here yesterday after touring the town.The food was perfect and couldnât be faulted, A lovely young lady served us throughout our meal and she was extremely pleasant and helpful, great service overall.

Being a Trim native I have seen this location in many guises but the olive tree is the best yet. It's small in size but big in ambition. The food is excellent and the desserts look and taste amazing. The staff are very friendly and the place is spotlessly clean. This cafe/tree room is a credit to the owner and staff and a Gem in beautiful Trim.

Derek was a excellent break from mainstream Ireland. Real down to earth Irishman. Food was good. He listened to us as we are from Virginia, USA and was intrigued of our culture. Derek actually let us go into his kitchen and make sausage gravy and homestyle biscuits. We went in looking for food came out with a friend

We ate here before and were unhappy with the service, food and price. Today we decided to give it another try, hoping things mightâve improved. They havenât. When asking our server to replace 2 items on our breakfast with 1 extra item she responded with a huff. Then when I asked for my eggs to be poached I was told it was an extra euro for a poached egg! Never have I heard such nonsense. On principle I took the over cooked fried egg of which there was meant to be 2. The rest of the breakfast hovered around eatable. No brown bread option and no return service to the table. â¬17 for 2 brutal mini breakfasts. Rachelâs, you wonât see me again.

We go here each time we visit home, just returned two days ago and visited twice in this trip. Food is delicious, staff friendly and you can visit in the hotel and gift shop after your meal.
