A small licensed riverside cafe. Offering good quality, local produce. Outstanding location with plenty to do for the entire family. See you soon!
Visited for lunch with my brother. Sat outside overlooking the estuary. As others have commented, the menu is different from standard fayre and really interesting. We both had mushroom, leek and local cheese pie which was beautifully presented and with crispy pastry crust. Young staff who were very professional and friendly. Dear Anne. Thank you so much for your concise and positive review. We are delighted to read it and so happy to hear that you appreciated both the menu and the staff in equal measure. We hope to see you down here again!

Was very impressed with the food for the price. Good quality ingredients served quickly. Only one criticism. The air was very smokey, due to fried food. Hence my conclusion is that the extraction system needs beefing up. Itâs only a small cafe, with the kitchen open plan, but Iâm sure something could be done. Apart from the ventilation I would say that this is an ideal lunch venue. Iâve worked in the town for many years and not tried it. Iâll be going again.

This is our third visit to Totnes and we returned to The Wild Fig, this time for lunch. It is a well positioned cafe on the main shopping street and you cannot miss its distinctive frontage. The food is delicious, with generous portions, and the ingredients are fresh and sourced locally. Also, we are of the opinion this cafe serves the best coffee in Totnes! We also love the fact that the cafe serves not only vegetarian and vegan food but food choices for people who eat meat. Lovely friendly staff.

We visited for the first time a week ago and were enthralled by the small, intimate cornucopia of our surroundings. Bianca and Massimo took the time to explain the menu for the evening, using fresh, organic ingredients.
