Reviews on Cafe food in Tobago, Caribbean. The smaller half of Trinidad and Tobago, the 116-square mile island is a top eco-tourism destination. Its rainforest has been protected since 1776. Kayak through mangrove swamps, mountain bike testing trails in the island's northeast, drift dive with manta rays and sharks, hike the Rainforest Reserve or take in the distinctive Tobago pursuits of goat and crab racing. Cars, taxis and "maxi taxi" minibuses make it easy to get around the island. Carnival sees this exuberant island at its most extroverted.

My parents and I went for wine and gelato. We sat outside and was then told that we should go inside to order, so we did. My dad ordered a glass of wine and we sat outside and waited and waited and waited. I had enough time to finish my gelato and we waited some more, but the staff was too engulfed with their conversation inside to remember the order. Soon after one of the servers came and said "you ordered a wine?" to which we said don't worry about the wine, we'll just like the bill.Don't think I'll be returning there.
Breakfast is wonderful! Thereâs no bad mood that can't be soothed by a bowl of your favourite cereal or two, hot eggs, or a stack of fluffy pancakes. I have fond memories of leisurely Sunday breakfasts with everyone piled around the table passing and savo
We popped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and sat on the shaded breezy balcony. Our waitress was delightful and we had the pancake stack and freshly brewed coffee. Despite being really hungry we couldnât eat it all so they offered us a takeout box and even put a pot of syrup in. It is a great place run by lovely people. We will be going back in a day or two when we are hungry again!Lovely to have had you! It was a busy Christmas season and then we took some time off (and moved!), so please do forgive the delayed response. All the best for this new year! :)

Where to eat Central American food in Tobago: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I happened upon Good Eats whilst shopping for breakfast one morning during vacation in Tobago. It is certainly a treasure since it offers breakfast from $6 TTD. The beast part is that the meals are prepared fresh by the chef while you wait! This offers a breath of fresh air to the local cuisine of Tobago. One can choose from local favorites like choka and bake, or international specialities like crepes or paninis. The teak furniture, excellent location (literally at the airport exit) and quiet vibe all add to the charm of Good Eats.Fresh fruit bowls, baked goods and yogurt are also available. Please visit soon! You will not be disappointed.

You must make a point of eating here while you are in Tobago! This is excellent cuisine at a price much more affordable than nearby competitors. This is a small restaurant and you must make a reservation to eat here. They are not opened at night on Mondays and Tuesdays but do serve lunch.Chezelle and her mother opened the restaurant about 5 years ago and Kerry is a recent addition. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and asked about making a reservation. Unfortunately there was nothing available prior to our leaving Tobaga but Kerry said, "Can you come tonight at 7pm? and Do you like Shrimp?" We thought they were fully booked for the evening and were fitting us in. It turns out they had not planned on being open but stayed open just for the 2 of us.Kerry cooked a Shrimp Pasta dish for us. Mine was in a tomato sauce with roasted tomatoes and my husband's was in an Alfredo sauce. The dish was Chef Worthy and the flavors were delicious! Kerry told us that he had flambeed the 16 (8 each) Jumbo Shrimp using rum as well!! When we finished dinner and realized that we were the only people in the restaurant, we thought we should leave so that the owners could go on and enjoy Sunday School down the road. They asked us to stay and visit a while - my husband had the homemade ice cream for dessert and I had another glass of wine. This place is meticulous! There is an interestingly lit waterfall that creates a lovely ambiance for your dining experience. Be sure to go here! You will love it.We are extremely pleased that you had a fabulous time. Looking forward to welcoming you in the near future. Team Cafe Down Low

I took my family tonShore Things for lunch on a small vacation to Tobago. To say that the food was scrumptious is an understatement. The callloo soup amd pumpkin soup were fabulous. For the main dish among the four of us we ordered the vegetarian crepes, tuna, Fish quiche and beef lasagne. All came with salad and amazing rolls. And the piece de resistance was the dessert - coconut I cream with real coconut in it, phenomenal coconut cream pie and awesome lemon merengue pie. All in all it was a wonderful meal in a very relaxing ambiance. Next time you are in Tobago donât forget to stop by for lunch.
