Ordered a Coronation Chicken sandwich and was asked 'Sandwich or Roll' - 'Roll please'.Chose some crisps and a drink (per the meal deal), came to pay to be told that the meal deal doesn't apply as I asked for a Roll.Sharp business practice at best, scam at worst: best avoided.

Stopped for breakfast half way around a bike ride.Service was very good. Staff let us wheel our bikes through the cafe into the garden.Superb full English breakfast and very good coffee. Far better coffee than the usual high street chains.Worth the ride to Tetbury for.

Lovely coffee and breakfast options.Go there regularly. Choice of milks and breads. Outside seating in the summer and a restored railway carriage to sit in if you choose to.Dog friendly. Have knocked off one star ,as I feel the carriage would be better as a dog free area.

A little pretentious for my taste. We had lunch burgers, ham and eggs, The burgers were good to be fair, but the ham egg and chips were very poor and the chips (or fries) were terrible as was the salad. For the money very poor value. The ham egg and chips were basically served up in a pathetic little bowl, If you want a wholesome lunch go elsewhere.

Cafe
Quayles has become something of a Tetbury institution. A short menu which allows faultless delivery whenever you go in there. Coffee etc in the morning drifting into lunch. There are outside tables but they can be a tad noisy for more than a coffee stop. There are delightful high chairs facing out at the window counter for people watching .The house wine is good value and the service efficient and friendly , interesting to note low staff turnover ,always a good sign.Likewise the proprietor is nearly always there .

Had a wonderful lunch here before going to Highgrove. The owner is very friendly and funny. Made us laugh from the first moment when he shut 2 of our party outside and put the closed sign up. He then called them in and moved everyone else on up the road. He was on his own and didn't want too many in at one time. He had many stories along with light hearted banter. He then produced the most gorgeous sandwiches and drinks. We highly recommend this cafe if Brian will let you in. If you are easily offended stay away but if you like a bit of light hearted banter and wonderful food bang on the door and beg to go in.

Cafe 53 is a family run cafe and home/lifestyle shop on (53) Long Street in the heart of Tetbury, close to HRH Prince Charles' HIGHGROVE shop, and serves some of the best coffee in the area. We are open 7 days a week for food; in fact, we are the only pla
Lunch, did not disappoint. One Crab, chilli and lime toastie - One smashed avocado, chicken and garlic aioli open sandwich. Fabulous. The fish finger sandwich sounded divine, but we opted for the aforementioned. Highly recommend this lovely place. Nice ambient environment, fabulous food.
