Things to do in Tamworth
Food and drink. Option to eat in or take away, choice of breakfasts, sandwiches, toasties, paninis, baguettes, fresh salads, omelettes, etc friendly service we cater for all. Also buffets available
Top Scoff is on a small parade of shops in Kingsbury. We were dithering about getting takeaway sandwiches for our lunch and there was no particular reason why we chose this cafe over the other one. I rather think this is a very popular local cafe as nine people came in for breakfast while I was waiting for my sandwiches and two customers ahead of me. I had to wait a while but it was worth it. My order was one round of Coronation Chicken and one round of chicken and bacon with mayo. Never, ever have I had sandwiches made to order, from scratch. I was even given a taster of the Coronation chicken to see it if was ok! The cost of these delicious morsels - £2 each. The proof was in the eating.I am baffled as to how Anita can supply such lovely sandwiches at that price. Service was friendly. Long may her business continue.

The Bolehall Manor Club is self contained historical heritage venue place located in the heart of England. Situated in spectacular surroundings is a perfect location for fashion shows, corporate meetings, product launches, weddings or parties offering bes
An impressive building on the Amington road, a great venue for a function or party , the hall is steeped in history. I remember years ago it was a private club and very posh. These days it is much more relaxed. We attended a charity function here. the main function room is very adequate for entertainment functions and opens out into the other bar room by means of sliding consetenta doors making the venue twice the size. There was room to lay on a large buffet too There was a well stocked bar and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The night was a great success and the surroundings interesting. But the building interior could do with a makeover/ refurb. This could be a great venue once again.

At first I was quite impressed by the Poachers' cosy atmosphere - also their apparent wish to please. Then the scales came off my eyes. The Waitress crossed the line, everso soon, from helpful to cloying - later mendacious. She seemed to wish to fulfill our orders for "fresh vegetables" instead of Salad. Big mistake. There was a tiny mound of overcooked cabbage next to a teaspoonful of equally overcooked carrot. My friend's mash was equally uninspiring. Worse :"one-quarter chicken" turned out to be one-sixth - & not a brilliantly grown one-sixth as that... defrosted FAR TOO QUICKLY. Puddings were adequate - though each priced, like the wine, several pounds above their value. Staff Meeting needed here to add REAL value - and to try fresher vegetables each in their own side-dish. Finally, please leave customers alone! They want service, not friendship.

Welcome to Bitter & Sweet, located on Lichfield Street, serving Breakfast, snacks and more. Missed the alarm, no time for breakfast Bitter & sweet is just what you need! Call the shop and pre-order your breakfast to collect on your way to work or have it
We decided to try out the new menu that Bitter & Sweet have put together. A few different items on the menu. Food cooked fresh, service with a smile with a pleasant atmosphere too & value for money too, they also have booths with USB charger ports & Wi-Fi too. What more could you ask for. Today hubby had Sausage, egg, chips & beans & I had scampi, chips & salad. It was delicious. (Pictured below)They are open Mon-Sat 9-3pm & Sunday's they open 10-4.30pm on a limited menu of All day breakfasts & Sunday dinners of a choice of either Chicken or Beef with sometimes Lamb or Gammon too. So if your on the area of Tamworth & local to the council offices just take a few steps further & you'll find this lovely cafe, so come & see for yourself & I'm sure you'll agree with me what a lovely place it is.You can eat in or pop in to collect or even telephone order for collection or delivery for £2.00 charge. They are also on Just Eat too.

The Strawberry Cabin is a contemporary tea room and restaurant offering breakfasts, lunches and a wide range of fantastic cakes!
Visited here with my wife and ordered fruit scones and coffee. They came with smaller scones than on display and without fruit. When queried they said the scones on display were display only yet were serving other customer cake from under display covers. Scones were bland and coffee wasn't the beat either. Just disappointed compared to other places.

It was past 2:00 on Sunday (they close at 2:30) so I assumed the staff were thinking of going home. Far from it! 9 of us piled in and were given a warm welcome and the good news that everything on the menu was still available. A great variety of breakfasts were enjoyed and not once were we aware that we may have been on "overtime". Cosy and friendly - just what a good cafe should be like.
