Very decent prices for a really jelly-belly stuffing food. What I've bought was more than enough and really tasty, which was quite surprising for me in the Hungarian reality. The service was fast and friendly, but do not forget, it is a window based take-away place, so if it is raining, not the wise choice, because not just the meat of the food will be juicy.... :)

This place has a pizzeria and a fast-food restaurant part. The pizza is really good and prepared and cooked Italian style, like it should be. The fast-food part has mostly Hungarian traditional foods, but there's usually salmon and some game too. The salad bar is pretty good with a wide variety of vegetables and sauces. The atmosphere and interior design are way above average compared to your usual mall. I would definitely recommend, especially the pizza and salads!

Have a coffee after purchasing the goods on the local market! The place combines the charming liveliness of the market with such high quality in food, drinks and service as you would expect from a downtown place of any European capital city.

Our visit to the Reok Cafe was one of the highlights of our trip to Hungary. Set in a beautiful Art Neuveau building the cafe also is beautiful inside and out. The cakes were delicious with unusual flavours and combinations. I went for the diabetic passion fruit which was so light with such delicate flavours. We took away some semi crescent biscuits too and they also were delicious. Service was great. I absolutely recommend a visit.

Modern europian restaurant in the heart of Szeged. Traditional hungarian kitchen with french motions and feelings. Family business with heart and soul and low prizes.
Place is run by father&son, which positively shows everywhere. You can feel, that they own the place and have a very clear concept how to do it. The menu is a very tasteful and creative mixture of local/european cuisine. Some of them even has a little asian twist. The portions are just fine. The chef (father) is happy to come out for a little chat, while the son is running the show with grace at the customer area. The interior is simple, comfortable. We instantly fell in love with the place and I recommend it to everyone who spends some time in the city.

I already heard from this small coffe and pastry shop in the centre of Szeged from family and colleagues. It is very popular among locals because of the freshly prepared and very good quality pastries. I dropped in to have a quick breakfast recently. The cappuccino was very tasty, and I found the croissants with cheese and wild garlic (a seasonal herb) excellent. The place is friendly and the service is quick. I tried the mille-feuille filled with home made custard cream previously, and this was the best after I had in a pastry shop in Szeged. Be careful, these are of huge size! :) Rétesbolt also offer (birthday) cakes if ordered in advance.

Had dinner here with 5 other friends. The place has great ambience and lighting, perfect for small groups and conversations. My meal, a lamb steak with asparagus and mashed sweet potato, is one of the best meals I've had in Szeged.
