New orleans inspired menu
This place is remarkable. Itâs quiet and personal service like the old days. Food is terrific and the proprietor Michelle is real hands-on. The gorgeous photographs are all taken by her and thatâs her first love but she doesnât spare any energy in love with the restaurant itself. I had the alligator omelette which was tasty and I will go back there in a heartbeat.

Classic Sausalito spot serving Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch for over 50 years! Try our special omelets, fluffy pancakes and unique french toast made with ice cream and grilled to perfection. Great for recovering after a wild night out or a meal with the fa
We had lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs and bacon, and an omelet. The food was delicious and the service was stellar. We were welcomed even though it was coming close to the end of their brunch service. They made sure we had everything wanted and were so friendly. It is small cafe, a bit off the beaten path which was exactly what we were looking for; if you want to escape the busy tourist scene near the ferry, this is the place for you!

Looking at the menu we could tell the Dipsea specialized in Greek food and we pretty much went all in. The Gyros, Meze Plate (spanakopita, dolmades, falafel, pita, Greek salad, pepperoncinis, tzatziki and skordalia), and Souvlaki Special were all really, really good. My son's Fish and Chips was also quite tasty - he loved it though I felt it was not quite in the same league as our Greek feast. And the portion sizes were *huge* - we were famished after hiking the serendipitously named Dipsea Trail and only my son succeeded in finishing off his meal.As for drinks, my Arnold Palmer was delicious (our waitress even asked how sweet I wanted it mixed) but it couldn't hold a candle to the milk shakes and smoothies. The rest of my family deservedly adored their Oreo shake, Vanilla shake, and Strawberry Colada smoothie. The service was exceptional (thank you Debbie) and the decor a kind of quaint country kitchen meets the sea.

Everyone raves about the Chinese Chicken Salad for good reason, it is the best. I recently stopped by for one of their take-out cartons stocked in the fridge and they only had the large size available (and it is large!) However, they were happy to make up a small size for me (still an ample portion) which I happily ate for dinner. The next day I was back to try the Greek salad and some roasted vegetables. All delicious. A San Anselmo treasure for sure.

Iâve been here twice during my stay and both times itâs busy, and I can see why. Itâs easily the best breakfast Iâve ever had. Staff is friendly. Coffee is good. Food is FRESH. I recommend the boosted grilled cheese - I got it no bread and they didnât bat an eye at this weird request, but you end up with a beautiful egg/avocado/cheese/tomato/millionaire bacon mix with a great salad. Hash browns should be ordered on the side! There is nothing bad to say. Iâd eat here every day if I could, I want to try everything on their unique menu. Wish I lived closer!!That's very kind of you to say, J.D. We appreciate your two visits and are happy to know you've enjoyed your meals. We'd love to see you back every day...but next time you visit is ok too!

Interesting spot. Their corned beef with sauerkraut Sandwich was very different; odd in a sense. I wouldnât have it again. My wifeâs sandwich was overpowering with goat cheese making all the ingredients.Salads looked awesome.Hi Mlippa. Thank you for your visit and feedback, We wish we had known you may have preferred a different item as we would have been happy to bring something else out for your and your wife. We hope you do make it back to try our salads soon and we'd love to hear from you again!

We had planned to have lunch here, until we climbed up the stairs, and took a look; very few tables, even fewer chairs, trash on the floor, screaming children, long line to order, and overpriced food. Since we were a large group, we would have had to eat, sitting on the benches by the bathrooms, balancing the food on our knees. We were not that hungry! The Gift Shop is tidy, and staff very nice. Bought some postcards, which supposedly were 59 cents (that is what the sign said), yet some cost 75 cents, and one cost $1.00.

We hiked to Stinson beach from Muir Woods and were very hungry. Found this place by the beach. The food was hot and well made. The service was great! It also has wi-fi which is a great plus as there is no phone connection in the region.

Amazing coffee and pastries in the morning both sweet and savory. I highly recommend. There is a park nearby where you can sit and eat there also a few tables out front where you can sit. No gluten free options.
