I am in love with Crystal Cafe. It's the perfect blend of good food, wonderful people and a down-home feel. It's a hole-in-the-wall attached to a gas station. The interior is a series of gray booths and brown tables. Faux paneling covers the walls up the chair rails, while gray wallpaper reaches up to the false ceiling tiles. The minute you walk in the door you will be greeted with a genuine smile and hello. They check on your regularly. They never sit still, but they always make you feel special. I had an open face hot roast beef sandwich and loved it. It was nothing fancy, but it reminds me of all the ones I had on the farm during lunch break from the fields.Awesome place! Thank you Robin for making a difference.

I was confused on what this place is. The name Jitters does not convey anything. The reviews say donuts, donuts, donuts. Now that I've been here, I would call it a coffee shop and cafe. The atmosphere is five star gorgeous. The area rugs, recliners, murals, sofa, curio cabinets, and more make me want to be here. That's where the pleasant visit ends.Parking outside is paid meters. I do not carry change, so I would not stop by here and risk a ticket. The coffee was harsh and unpleasant. I did not finish it. My Iowegian Breakfast Wrap was chewy and plain. The tortilla used to make the wrap was too big. The egg had no chance to add flavor with so much tortilla wrap. I did not like the bacon. There is a fairly extensive food menu that covers sandwiches, wraps, and salads. It's confusing because I thought this was a coffee shop, so the chalk menu board seemed like all they had. Once the order taker showed me the real menu, I stepped out of the line to look it over and make a choice. They have donuts here. It's a small display case. It's surprising how little the case is because the reviews make it seem like your'e about to step into donut wonderland.I don't think I would come back here. The meter parking and bad coffee are a turn off. The atmosphere is so cool that I would like to just hang out, but you have to have decent coffee to make that work.
Scooterâs has an excellent array of coffee. The service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I loved the Cold Brew!

My fiancé and I came for their Sunday brunch option. It was delicious. Lots of options- this Sunday there was pancakes, tacos, eggs, sausage, Mac and cheese, fruits and veggies, biscuits and gravy, and multiple dessert options. Food was well kept and warm. Friendly wait staff that did a fantastic job cleaning used plates. I noted that they had next weeks brunch posted, so Iâm guessing each week there is a different variety of food.

Blue Cafe âOn The Blockâ has a very unique personal menu that is read to you while you relax in a cool retro cafe. Fresh, healthy and very delicious! Loved the sweet potato chip, sweet onion, red pepper, quinoa, spinach salad. The homemade cracker crust pepperoni pizza was perfectly crispy, amazing! We took home a piece of homemade cherry pie and it was deliciously tart, not too sweet, perfect. Will definitely be back soon! Canât wait to see whatâs on the menu next visit!
