Exquisitely enchanting experience within an historic setting along tree-lined streets, this European-inspired restaurant offers welcoming service and delicious dining within elegant, but not stuffy, surroundings. Floral arrangements and music delight, with seating on the garden front patio or within the intimate, elegant, wood-paneled library room adorned with frescoed ceiling. Enjoy a white peach Mimosa or Sangria with your signature Rosemary & Currant Bread house specialty. Finish with a decadent dessert. As you will not want to return to reality by departing, wander into the attached Gourmet Market & Gift Shop to complete this truly enjoyable experience. I am anxious to revisit this lovely family-owned venue.

This restaurant has had a serious problem with service. Cold coffee. Forgetting items. Etc. etc. This was a delightful experience today. The coffee was very hot and delivered right away. The food was delivered correctly. And, as usual, the food and coffee is super delicious. Iâm so happy theyâve gotten their act together.

Primarily a deli with take-out and table service, this is a lovely place for lunch or an early dinner (later on Thursdays, when the South Pasadena farmers' market takes place.) Quiche, lovely soups and salads, sandwiches and a very decent wine-by-the glass list make this a must for every visitor to South Pasadena. If the weather permits, sit outside on the terrace. And don't miss the in-house desserts - luscious lemon tarts, chocolate tarts and other delights. While you wait, peruse the selection of cheeses and gourmet condiments.

If you're hankering after a seriously good sandwich, you will not be disappointed here. They also make tasty salads and great coffee -- I had a latte. Large portions makes sharing a feasible option, or take home your leftovers. They don't take reservations, so there's often a wait -- testament to how popular Fiore Market Café is. Good for friends, couples, solo, but a large party might feel a bit cramped.
