At Cafe Gaflen you can literally put your teeth into the taste of West Jutland. Beef and Ice from local farm shop in Houvig. Plaice fillets and cod from Hvide Sande. Beer from local brewery in Hvide Sande. And a good glass of wine imported from Germany. C

Grelt fries. After a long day of drinking it cured a hangover instantly. Using a 100 chars drunk is a challenge - this is why I am writing this. Anyway, great fries!

From arrival you are seated by lovely people, and the atmosphere are great with chicken running around the garden tables. The brunch itself is fantastic, with a great variety.Only minus was 2 young new helpers that was not trained yet to attend peoples needs. So getting there attention could be a bit difficult.But all in all a nice place for brunch.

Was here a couple of years ago and pleased to note that the quality of goods, food and service is still as good. The deli holds an amazing array of specialist beers, wines and spirits. Plenty of choice in little known cheeses and confections too - a veritable Aladdin's cave!As the weather was absolutely awful, I plumbed for a curry soup with shrimps and bread to warm me up. My wife chose 'fiskefrikadeller' (gorgeous fish cakes) with rye bead - both meals were nicely presented. A modest lunch was enough to satisfy us this day, washed down with a fine coffee. Only downside was the menu prices - a little steep but may be normal in Denmark.

This gem was just of the main pedestrian street in Ringkøbing. In between 2 very old but nicely renovated houses, was a lovely garden. As it was nice weather we sat there, but there is of course an indoors as well. In the garden they had lots of herbs between tha tables. The food was very good and the staff really really friendly. Can only be recommended, for a lunch or bruch on a sunday.

Besøgte stedet i efterårsferien sammen med gode venner.Vi skulle have kaffe og kage og fik hurtigt valgt de kager vi ønskede, og fik dem straks udleveret og betalingen overstået. Det flinke personale ville komme med kaffen, men efter noget tid fik vi besked om at der ville gå lidt tid, da de var løbet tør for kaffe. Dette betød at vi var færdige med kagerne, da kaffen endelig dukkede op. Kaffen smagte til gengæld godt og selv om der var et lille svips, var smagsoplevelsen alligevel god, både kaffe og kage. Så læg endelig vejen forbi når i er i Søndervig.
