I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years, the food just gets better and better. The cakes and gateaux are amazing, my partner particularly likes the cheese omelette and chips - so flavourful. If you have a gluten allergy or coeliac, this restaurant is your saviour or just fancy a hearty meal. Mark & his team are very friendly and knowledgeable on food allergies. For those of us who do suffer from food allergies, this restaurant is a life saver, they are fully aware of cross contamination, to keep you safe.

Great quality coffee & food by the sea. Al Fresco dining. Really lovely nosh and drinks thrown in with brilliant value and authentic friendliness.
Lovely cafe with lots to offer. The chef works very hard and the sandwich presentation looked really good....but.....I wanted a toasted tea cake and always say, everywhere I go, âbutter separately pleaseâ. Most cafes do this anyway. This one didnât listen. I was presented with the flattest, dencist, untoasted butter laden tea cake ever! Stupidly I didnât complain but scooped it into my bag to throw away.Dear tearooms, please donât assume everyone likes masses of butter, and please toast your toasted tea Cakes!

Cafe much loved by the locals. Run by Adam and Jane. Plain basic food but friendly service.
Coffee: excellent. Tea: good. Fried breakfast: fabulous... Exactly what you'd expect. Add a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere and that's all you need. NO. STOP. WAIT... Look at the burger menu! Now I appreciate a big brecky and a bacon butty as much as the next guy, but don't just come for breakfast. Look at those burgers. In particular... Look at the TURBO. Pure genius. A taste sensation that combines a big slab o'burger with bacon, stilton and fresh chillis. Wow. Oh, their veggie burgers a good too, and the other stuff. Dogs welcome, of course... This is Teignmouth.

A relaxed Cafe-Bar, where well-behaved Children and Dogs are welcome, serving Food & Drink all day. We are fully licensed and have a selection of Hot & Cold Meals. Tables available for booking, recommended for larger groups. Free WiFi
We came in late morning for one of the Lemon Tree highly recommended breakfasts. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast are just one of many things that Lemon Tree does. It is a very friendly place, and with a strong local support. Everyting is spotlessly clean and well organised. Really good homemade / locally sourced items.

Stopped off at the Oystercatchers today (not for the first time) for a latte coffee and a bacon sandwich. Inside was packed, so, it being a glorious day, I ordered and then sat outside at a table on the footway. I was prepared for a long wait, owing to it being so busy, but just over five minutes from ordering to delivery to my table was a real surprise. Service was efficient and very friendly with lots of smiley faces. Will definitely return again soon!

Come in for tea, the conversation is free! Party bookings welcome. We serve loose tea with old fashioned tea sets. We sell also sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, jacket potatoes and a selection of cakes.
I visited this resturant with a friend on a Saturday morning whilst exploring the pretty town of Teignmouth. I had the full English which had two sausages, two bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and tiny bite sized hash browns. The scrambled eggs tho were really very, very good. We were served by the lovely young lady whoâs real name is Kitten !!All in all a good little find!!

Been here a few times. Decent range of lunch and light snacks and cakes. We chose a Chilli Jacket Potato and a Baguette with egg and bacon. Plus teas.Service polite and served teas at right time, just before meals. Both lunches were well presented and tasty. So it would be 5/5, however.... Couple of negatives.1. Allowed dogs to roam around without a lead. One was sick and then proceeded to eat it! Think about allergies and other customers. You should have a lead policy. 2. Ran out of cakes at 2pm. Yet no mention to us or any other customers that they do waffles with different toppings. You lost trade!

Visited for breakfast whilst on holiday as it had been recommended to us. We both had eggs benedict, one with bacon and one with smoked salmon. Friendly service and tasty food. It is slightly pricey but for the quality of food, definitely worth it if you fancy treating yourself. Thank you for your great review. We are glad that you enjoyed your breakfast with ushere at Below Decks.
