They serve gigantic portions and cater to the interstate crowd (near the juunction of I-35 and I-70).
My husband and I stopped in for breakfast (restaurant came highly recommended by hotel personnel). We arrived a few minutes after 9am and was seated promptly. There are plenty of tables plus counter service and I will venture to say it was about half full. We were served with coffee and our order was taken however, it took 50 min to get our breakfast. I had 3 cups of coffee before our meals arrived. We both ordered omelettes, one Spanish and the other western. They were huge and delicious, filled with fresh meat and veggies. We opted for tomato slices rather than hash browns and rye toast. Our breakfast was very fresh and flavorful. Our waitress acted like she owned the place, strutting around and yelling at the cook. She was telling customers he was fairly new. Well, if she felt he needed guidance, she should have went into the kitchen rather than yelling from the counter. Very unprofessional. So, food is excellent, service is slow and some of the help should be aware of what customers can hear.

Tried hash breakfast... looked more like a little dog food mixed in with lots and lots of potatoes. Tasteless. Then they served hash browns as a side to go with the potato overloaded hash. Eggs over easy were perfect. Windows full of dead bugs. The guy came by to wipe down a table next to ours with a rag that smelled of old socks. Just donât go here.

We go here quite a bit to eat. Like the hot roast beef, chicken strips and cold plate with salad. The breakfasts r large and very good. Really like the iced tea also. Try it sometime.
