Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Saint Paul. Saint Paul has been called the last city of the East primarily because early developers built it to fit Eastern standards: city squares or parks, towers and turrets, lofty arches, Baroque domes and elaborate adornments abound. Ideal for families and those who like to explore on foot, the capital of Minnesota offers big city attractions with small town manageability. It's an easy and scenic stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River from the Children's Museum to the Science Museum. The kids (and the young at heart) will love them both. Nearby are the grandiose State Capitol, designed by esteemed architect Cass Gilbert and the historic Como Park, which includes lovely picnic areas, a zoo and a conservatory. Also in the mix are modern museums, stately old mansions, interesting natural wonders and unique shops to browse around. Be sure to check out the stellar collection of contemporary works by local artists at the Minnesota Museum of American Art. From four-star luxury to affordable and family-friendly, Saint Paul offers a variety of lodging and dining possibilities making it a great destination for all tastes and budgets.

We ordered a denver omelet and the uptowner eggs benedict with andouille sausage. The server was prompt with the coffee refills and the orders. The food was very good. The hashbrowns were crisp and delicious but the quantity was huge - no way to eat that many.

Business meal, two of us ordered âoff menuâ server got it right didnât skip a beat. Service was top shelf, our food was prepared quickly and all was delicious. They know how to take care if you and if you like fresh baked pastries youâll also appreciate their wide selection.

I enjoyed two visits for breakfast. Salmon scramble and blueberry pancake are very good. Very good coffee. Good service. Yes, you have to walk through a floral/gift shop to get to the cafe. Street parking usually not a problem. Great little place to meet a friend or enjoy breakfast on your own.

I went this evening (Aug 21, 2019) and ordered Almond Crusted Walleye with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The walleye piece was not any larger than two inches and had no almond crust. Absolutely pathetic serving. Nothing for $26...a complete disappointment. And to complete the meal within an hour after eating I came down with abdominal cramps and diarrhea. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I have eaten at three other Keys locations over the years- but first time here at the Raymond Ave site. Love the casual ambiance. Server friendly and accommodating. The Potatoes, etc (my favorite at the other locations) was huge - wonderful eggs, hash browns and vegetables perfectly prepared. I had to take half of it home. My companions spoke highly of their breakfast dishes. Will happily return here. Highly recommended. Note that there is metered street parking- but if you go one block north and turn right you will find free two hour street parking.

I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile now and finally stopped in last weekend. I arrived a little after noon and was craving breakfast still. The dining room isn't large although it has an upscale feel, the metal chairs could easily be knocked over by a heavy coat. We were seated at a table close to the front door, and the draft is noticeable when the door opens - sending shivers up and down you. Their menu isn't huge and several of the options looked straight from an American diner menu, while others had a definite Korean flare. I had the short ribs eggs Benedict ($14) and my friend had the Mac and Chi ($12). I found the short ribs on the eggs benedict a miss, and think they are trying too hard to add a Korean flare. The short rib meat is delicious but just didn't add that salty savory taste a classic piece of Canadian bacon does. My friend loved the Mac and Chi, while i sampled it and found it a little too spicy and underwhelming - So we canceled each other out in our opinions. It's nice to see an upscale option on Payne Avenue and the east side, just not sure I will be a regular. My friend on the other hand, may have just found a new home. The only other downside is with all of the hard surfaces, the restaurant can get a little loud, this was exacerbated by one of the staff folding silverware in the back table.

It was an extremely cold and busy morning. Despite of cold temperatures with windchill outdoor, the indoor spirits were high. The staff was very accommodating. You have to order the food at the counter and you have to seat yourself. The quality food arrived promptly. Overall, it was a great 1st time visit.

A great breakfast spot in the Selby-Snelling neighborhood. Everything is made from scratch, with fresh ingredients. The service is always attentive, friendly and the food served with a smile. It is clear the Neighborhood Café lives up to its name with its warm, no rush, casual atmosphere. The Cajun Breakfast was memorable. Hashbrowns may be the best in town â crispy on the outside and delightfully tasty all over. Served with eggs and andouille sausage, this is a big breakfast â come hungry. Reasonable prices. Street parking relatively available.

Well known and established breakfast spot. The food is reliable â hot, relatively fast and pretty darn good. There is nothing fancy here. While ordering at the counter, we asked for a recommendation and the woman taking our order, told us about the house made sausage. She was right â it was worth the trip alone. Eggs cooked as ordered and lots of potatoes accompany most dishes. Good coffee. For a big breakfast in St. Paul, consider the Buttered Tin.
