My wife and father-in-law go to LA Fitness next door then go to Whole Foods for a great little lunch (Great Soup !) and then shop for groceries. Very good quality of food products with well organized food selections in all isles .

I've had cream tea in England and in various tearooms in NYC but these scones are of the American variety - large, overly sweet, mushy/cakey and triangular in shape. What they call clotted cream is definitely not clotted cream. It tasted instead of a mixture of crème fraîche or sour cream, whipped cream and possibly some kind of whipped topping. The room itself was kitschy and the pop music was too loud for my taste. I looked forward to visiting after reading so many positive reviews about their scones, especially, but was disappointed.

Went at a busy lunch time. Service good but had a little trouble attracting waitress when we had a request to make. It is a small restaurant that gets very busy, with good reason. The food is delicious. The french toast was great, so were the pancakes I ordered. We even ordered a hamburger to go so we could try the meat that was not meat. Would highly recommend, the food is very tasty and fresh. Service was very nice, but could get hectic if you had to ask something after you ordered. We never got the maple syrup we ordered extra but they gladly took it off the bill when we paid. The best french toast I have tasted in awhile and everything else we ordered was good too.

This is a local bakeshop I have passed numerous times while driving thru St James and never stopped. Most bakeries are a disappointment and very expensive as it's hard to compete with the supermarket prices of donuts. However, I always stop at a new bakery looking for anything with an almond filling (my husband is addicted) and they did have an almond ring. That said the taste was great, lots of filling but a bit light on the dough part but all in all the taste he was looking for. I also got a cheese danish which was disappointing- not enough cheese filling! It was late afternoon around 4:30 near closing so the choices were minimal but I would get the almond ring againIt's got some tables and they serve coffees so it's a cute little spot for a meeting or sit down with a friend. Beware it's pricy- the above two items $13!

Met a friend for lunch today at "Javier's Café". The food was fabulous!! I couldn't find anything on the menu I didn't like!! Finally decided on the "Ovengold Turkey Sandwich", with a side of French Fries. They offer both Breakfast and Lunch from 6am through 3pm, the hours they are open, so if you want French Toast, eggs, or pancakes for lunch, this is your place!! The service was friendly, and efficient. The restaurant is small in size, and was full at the time we were there, so it does have a tendency to be somewhat noisy. Parking is easy, as there is ample parking in the rear of the restaurant, and an entrance from the parking lot, as well. I will definitely be going back soon, and I recommend it highly to others!!

Great little breakfast place. Love the Vibe. The black tea was really good. The veggie wrap was delish as well as the breakfast platter. The potatoes and bacon was cooked perfectly. I definitely would come back. They have a great menu for vegetarians and vegans. They also have many flavors of tea, coffee drinks and beer on tap.
