I see from reviews this place is popular with those who live and work in the mid-town area of Sacramento. I stumbling in while looking for another newly discovered restaurant in the neighborhood. Mid-town has so many gems for those looking for new menus and treats. I didn't order a Crepe, however with such an extensive menu, I tried one of my 'standard' measures for any place, the classic BLT- this with Avocado on Foccacia Bread, vs. their standard whole grain. Delightful and fully loaded along with a very generous mixed green salad with house dressing, I'm not sure but think it was raspberry or fruit-based vinaigrette. Very tasty! Prices good, service accommodating, for a counter order joint, and a nice crowd of mid-town Sac mix: millennials, professionals, and such.

It's the Wandering Yank here. I've been to the El Dorado Hills Selland's many times, so when a friend wanted to meet for lunch near Sac State and I saw this Sellands on the map, it was easy to decide on Selland's.Good choice! An excellent selection of lunch fare - hot and cold sandwiches, pizzas, salads and various entrees. You order and pay at the counter, and the staff delivers to your table. My Cubano sandwich was excellent. Service was cheerful and efficient, decor is light and casual, and prices are reasonable. What more could one ask for (well, maybe a little more parking...)?2 thumbs up!

Every customer that enters is greeted with a cheery "Bonjour!" They serve delicious French sandwiches with a salad on the side for $6.50--$10.50 for lunch. Workers speak French to each other and there are French posters on the walls and French post cards on each table (under glass). Service is good, too.

We had a lovely bunch on a Sunday early afternoon at this restaurant. A little bit of a wait, but it was worth it. Lots of choices on the menu, excellent coffee. Great Service. One small note, they don't have ketchup. I like ketchup on my eggs, so I'll bring some with me next time. They only take cash, but they have a free ATM.

Stopped here for lunch after landing at airport. Sat outside, really nice garden area. Love the old theater and neon signs, cool atmosphere. Had the special of the day which was NY Waldorf Salad, hubby had enchiladas. Salad was fresh and very tasty. Chicken, apples, walnuts, celery on a bed of fresh bib lettuce. Really good. Wanted to have a cookie but several varieties were sold out already so settled for a piece of chocolate cake which was pretty good but not to die for. If I lived in the area I would definitely make this a regular destination.

Mid Town Sacramento
WOW! Never heard of this place until eavesdropping on a pool conversation. Went with a friend today (Sept ist) and had an amazing meal, while enjoying very personable waitstaff! People queuing up 20 minutes before 8am opening. Good size space completely filled by 8:10. Pleasant decor, non typical menu but intriguing menu. I had fresh peach challa bread French toast w/whipped cream, real maple syrup, caramel drizzle. OUTSTANDING!!My friend had strawberry (in & out) flapjacks w/whipped cream & about a pint of sliced fresh berries. Portions are large & delicious. We were both extremely pleased with our experience!!
