I'm so sorry to write this but the last time when we were here the food was so poor and tasteless. I was several time here the have a nice traditional Austrian dinner and it was always ok but now something happened. Maybe they have new chef in the kitchen... And on the top the service was not as nice as usual. Our waiter was the rudest person I ever met.Definitely not going here anymore. There are a lot of better places in Hinterglemm for this price.

We discovered this newly built restaurant-bar at the top of the cable car on our last day, which was a real shame as it was amazing.Very modern, beautiful building with stunning views over the mountains.Service was top notch, friendly and they made lots of time for you, unlike some of the staff in very busy mountainside restaurant stops.Food too was great and the smell when you came out of the cable car station was enough to make you hungry!Highly recommend. Looks great for parties too.

We did not expect that our hotel had a restaurant this good. The chateaubriand was to die for! You simply must try it. We all had it several times during our stay. Also the wienerschnitzel was great.

The restaurant has a wide variety of surprising choices. For example a really good steaktartare isn't something that many restaurants in Hinterglemm offer. Also a cheese fondue you can find over here!They have a good winelist with Austrian and international wines. Above this the service is experienced and very friendly.Only the decor of the restaurant could be better, it's a strange mix of different styles.
