After Travelling to Nienoord for the amusement park we saw that the carpark full was. It was busy so we decided to have a wander around this beautiful Dutch country estate and have a snack and a drink at the Grand café here. My daughter and myself decided on the "Borg Burger" and my son on a toasted sandwich. The waitress was really friendly and the service was prompt. The food arrived and was nicely presented and for the price of â¬5,95 it proved to be excellent value. Thick and juicy, well seasoned and not over cooked, just what you want for a midday snack. My sons toasted sandwich was also no mean feat, two doorsteps of toasted bread with local farm cheese and boiled ham. All in all a good food experience in a wonderful setting.

Leuk restaurant aan de weg. Prima om even kopje thee of koffie te nemen met taart of high tea of eenvoudige lunch. Alles vers.

Coffee, Genever, Beer and also good bread and fillings. More than 50 different beers, even their own Ja Beer. Lots of snacks at any time, bread, salad, Flammkuchen. A place to be - with tradition. Efficient and fast service. Reasonably priced.

Very nice place in Groningen, close to the city center. We had the dragon bowl which was delicious and the avocado toast was also good. Definitely a good place to have some lunch or grab a coffee!

Welcome at 'De Drie Gezusters'! Groningen and the âDe Drie Gezustersâ are inextricably connected with each other. Situated in the exact centre of the city of Groningen, one could argue it is the most prolific Grand Café in town since the early 70âs. Eithe
Sporting a flashy visage the three pub bistros do their number across the Grote Mkt cheek to cheek. There is a large outdoor seating area which gets very crowded on a sunny day. Other there is a huge space with the longest bar in town and booths and tables inside.Service is prompt and quick and your server is not above a little chat.A great place to bunk down especially when a music performance is on in the square.
