Had lunch here with my sisters. The menu looked very promising, but what a let down. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. We also ordered Onion Rings as an appetizer.The first thing that happen the dishes for the onion rings were dirty, I mean it happens. But the attention to detail is what will set a place apart from the average. The onion rings appeared to be hand battered. But were extremely greasy. Not sure I would reorder them.The chicken fried steak was ok. Nothing spectacular. The only thing that was memorable was the roll. It was very light and tasty. The decor was cute for a small town diner. I think the breakfast would of been a better option.

Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff made for a pleasant lunch. The Reuben is fabulous! My wife enjoyed her San Francisco Turkey sandwich. Of course you have to have an Apple Dumpling!

You wonât be disappointed with this small, deli like cafe. Delicious soups are prepared daily. There is also a nice salad bar that is refreshed throughout the day. Tasty breakfast items and sandwiches are offered as well. Homemade cinnamon rolls greet you at the counter and sometimes the chef offers decadent brownies and cookies as well. Add specialty coffees and frozen yogurt and your meal at the Pink Octopus is sure to please any palate. The staff is warm and helpful and eager to please.

Visited this restaurant while staying with a friend. A couple of my buddies had breakfast at this café which is located on the main highway into Rockport. Was extremely satisfied with their pancakes and sausage. I always compare pancakes to my homemade pancakes and they were just as good. The service was fast and the woman who waited on us was extremely friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for breakfast if you are visiting Rockport or live there and haven't tried it.
