We visited the Charthouse Cafe for lunch last week. My husband had the Seafood Chowder but it was more like a fish soup than a chowder. We have had chowder at San Francisco Fisheman's harbour and was nothing like this but my husband quite enjoyed it. I had the fish & chips - ok but the fish did not have much flavour but quite enjoyable. Will visit again.John & Gail LaneyThank you

First time at Rockingham City Shopping Centre for over 20 years - needed a break from the crowds - came to Shingle Inn for lunch.Ordered a chicken burger with chips and a bottle of cool soft drink - what impressed me were the friendly staff - was offered a glass of ice with the soft drink - both the order taker and food server were happy and helpful.The meal was tasty - service quick - this outlet is recommended.

Fast service and friendly staff make this a great place to rest up for half an hour or so to recharge for your shopping spree. Join their Coffee Club Membership for great discounts throughout the year, pays for itself very quickly.

It definitely snows in Rockingham at Christmas....the coffee artist continues to surprise!Had morning coffee here today with chocolate cheesecake balls - the two cheesecake balls were coated in dark and white chocolate....extremely tasty - a perfect Christmas treat.The plate came out with typical artistic flare ----a dusting of coconut sprinkles as well as cherries although I'm told they were meant to be Christmas balls.Either way the cappuccino was great and the cheesecake balls just right...might come back again next Christmas...LOL...always a warm welcome from this happy family business.

This place was a find. Not only did we get a delicious iced coffee with options for icecream and fresh cream they have a wide range of other drink options. As we sat down to enjoy our drinks I noticed their sign advertising "Butterbeer". For anyone that hasn't heard of Harry Potter this is the movies signature drink. I wish I had seen it first so I could have tried it out. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly too.Thank you Chizzel and sorry you missed the Butterbeer!!! We love playing with our menu and providing lots of fun specials. Jaffelato was designed to be place of comfort that invokes fun childhood memories and whatâs better than Harry Potters favourite drink! Hope you can visit us again in the future

A group of nine had a meal at lunch time for a christmas get together.We were served very promptly with a very pleasant waitress.The meals were brought together with quite large serves.The meals were very well prepared and everybody liked what they asked for, at reasonable prices.

It was my dad's 80th birthday and he picked this place for a get together. Was quite surprised that bottle beer was $5.00 and there is a huge selection , also had pints of beer on tap to for $8.00 There was a Great selection of food and the fish and chips was the favorite for this group of 20 . Staff where friendly and access to the cafe for the elderly was good . Was a nice place for a catch up with family looking over the ocean. There is construction on the beach front but that ok . Even with a big amount of people they did seperate billing which surprised me . Over all it was a good day . Staff very nice

Nice area and relaxed atmosphere.Good to be able to bring the pup to sit and relax with us.All day breakfast was good. Nothing wow but enjoyed it.Daughter had the mermaid bowl which she enjoyed and looked great.Coffee was ok. Little bit weak.Overall enjoyable.

Great little cafe with inside and outside seating. It was a little chilly so we sat inside near the heater which was nice and toasty. The food was amazing and the serving size was massive!
