So much better with new owners. Delightful young staff and very professional. Attentive and efficient and obviously enjoyed their work. There are good cafes around town but poor staff at times. This one is different.

We ate here on our last night in Port Macquarie, and all our meals were very tasty. I had a steak as did my friend my husband had a pasta dish, while my husband had a risotto. We started off with bread toasts which we thoroughly enjoyed. All meals were served quite quickly, and were perfect, service was good and we had a great evening

Previously given Rivermark 10/10 all round, but hugely disappointed on a return visit to find the coffee has gone right off. Not sure what the problem is, but somethingâs changed, for the worse. Previously informed by the barista that the coffee vendor had been in and made unhelpful changes to settings, which accounted for a quite poor cup. If they are tinkering with fixing the damage that caused, itâs still not back to the previous standard. Also noted a new (to me) staff member who hadnât had the same friendly pills the rest of the staff seem to be on. A smile might be nice.

HiMy wife and I ate at the Corner Sunday morning for breakfast as we have been doing every 3-4 months for a couple of years. We were quite surprised at the price increase in food, particularly 55 cents for one teaspoon of honey I had with my tea.I think we will go and buy breakfast ingredients at a supermarket and cook nice and fresh at home.Mike and Jo

good coffee, good food, good people, good God I'll see ya there!
We shared the chef's selection, which consisted of five courses. Their menu selection was outstanding, especially the blending of ingredients that I have never experienced before. They use local produce as far as possible. Their slow-cooked meats were truly melt-in-your mouth. The wine list was minimal, barely adequate. Decor was basic - definitely not fine dining. Their use of local produce cooked extremely well is their attraction.

Birthday lunch for my wife....and well deserved! Friendly welcome from helpful staff. The menu was about to be changed for the winter selection but the current choice was good. I had mussels, albeit NZ and not black but they were nicely cooked and well presented. Wife had escargots and was happy with them. I followed with chicken and seafood caesar salad which was interesting, whilst the wife had chicken cooked sous vide....she thought it excellent. We had a glass of unwooded chardonnay each followed by a very good shiraz....all produced on the property. We bought 2 bottles of shiraz and it travels well! We haven't been here for some years but won't wait so long next time. Good value, well presented and friendly service. Recommended.

Café focusing on LOCAL, fresh and all homemade. After falling in love with all things farming, we purchased 450 chickens & a chicken caravan to supply us directly to the cafe. Our hens live an awesome life out on fresh pasture. When theyâre not laying egg
Food is lovely and well presented, prices are good and the coffee is excellent. The service is slow and they got a few things like drink orders wrong. Would go back but they really need too over haul there service staff to improve overall.
