Enjoyed a relaxing lunch here on Tuesday with friends. Very nice venue with seating inside and outside. Menu is extensive with meals and drinks being very reasonably priced. There is also a daily specials board. Meals need to be ordered and paid for at the counter and staff deliver them to the table. We all chose something different; Steak and Guinness Pie with chips and salad ($16.90), Curry Chicken Korma with rice and pappadums ($16.90), Salt and Pepper Squid served on a watercress salad ($18.90), and Pork Stirfrywith crispy noodles ($18.90) Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free diets are well catered for. Staff are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this venue for breakfast, lunch or just cake and coffee. A busy place especially with locals. Pays to book!! Good food, good service and good value.

Hectors On The Wharf is a cafe bar overlooking the Murray River in Goolwa, South Australia. The establishment itself is uniquely positioned on the historic Goolwa Wharf, and is accessible not only by foot or car, but by boat as well. The name of the cafe
The menu was extensive and it took a while for my daughter and me to finally choose the beef salad, and we both loved the fusion of flavours and the tenderness of the beef. We will have to return to try the other impressive menu choices. The atmosphere was relaxing, the décor suited the maritime location and the service was excellent. Loved the whole ambience of the place. If I lived in Goolwa, I'd want to eat here every day.

European style cafe with delicious food and amazing Belgian Waffles. Formerly known as Two Bees Cafe
Service was good.Food was very bad, all food ordered and cooked was not good, we were sick for a couple of days afterwards.Cafe was overly cluttered even fake flower garlands from the seventies and all looked a bit dirty.sorry to hear about this, we would prefer you to have approached us in person, we are always happy to provide you with a different dish if it is not to your liking or a refund. This is the first time we have heard of anyone being sick as all our food is cooked fresh and is homemade. We are only a phone call away ! It is hard to improve our business if we have no idea of the day of your visit or what meals you have had.

We come here every time we are in the area, today we had an amazing breakfast. Hubble had The big wave breakfast a huge breakfast, too big for him to finish but he gave it a good try. I had the Smashed avacado, poached eggs, beetroot relish and fetta . The flavours are just amazing the serve very generous and the coffee is great. All food reasonably priced , the staff are efficient and friendly ( all volunteers). The beach view of Chiton rocks is truly amazing and you may stay much longer than you expect. Do yourself a favour and find this hidden gem. Thanks for the great review!

Nice outdoor ambience overlooking vines outside on a warm day, friendly service, lovely fish pie, fine for a low key catch up with friends and family friendly. Not too crowded as is off the main Port Elliot tourist drag. Own wines on offer are quite OK. Small menu but good food from local chef. Would visit again.

We've been passing Pipi's for quite a while - it is set back behind some trees on the main road. Finally we stopped in for breakfast with friends last Sunday. Great. Really interesting menu - I had hash potatoes (not the US style, but chopped small and fried), with smoked salmon and a couple of poached eggs on top. My wife had the special - eggs hollandaise with smoked trout. Friends had home-smoked beans, and bacon and egg roll. All just lovely, and with an individual feel to them. Coffee excellent too. Under $50 a couple. Lovely staff - run by young couple who employ 8 casuals. It is quite small inside, so I'd recommend going early, If the weather's good there's a pleasant courtyard out the back.

Back cycling on the Encounter Bikeway and not a long break since the last visit here. Still great fish and chips. Will be back.
