We've now visited Sweetie Pie's a couple of times. I like to review after visiting more than once if possible. Sweetie Pie's is small and popular, so unless you're early, expect to wait. The wait is always tolerable though and on our Sunday visit at 10:30 am it was crowded and we still got a table in about 15 minutes. The servers are friendly and helpful. We even asked questions about which stores to shop in downtown and the servers were all very helpful and gave suggestions. It was like we had a tour guide. Now the food always seems good and there is plenty of it. I had a Rancho Omelet with country potatoes and cinnamon raisin toast. You get two very thick pieces of toast whatever bread you order. And because Sweetie Pie's is also a bakery, you can take home a pie or loaf of specialty bread of your choice. The only thing someone else might think weird, but doesn't bother me, you have to get up and get your own coffee. But it's unlimited and there's plenty of good coffee and condiments to customize your brew.

Stop by everytime you pass by and join us for cozy Family Dining. Conveniently located right off highway 50 at the gateway to Apple Hill. Enjoy dining on our amazing patio with one of the "Best Views" in Apple Hill.
I have been coming to this location for the last 30+ years. The quality of food has had it's highs and lows during that time. While the service was always adequate the experience was average at best. THAT HAS ALL CHANGED. We dropped in for lunch on August 30th on our way back from our cabin up the hill. There was a sign outside that stated that the restaurant was under new management and we also noticed the change of name. This was a totally new experience. The cleanliness, service and quality of the food were stellar. We met Russell the restaurant manager. He shared a bit of info on the couple that now own the place. You can tell that they really want to make this a go to spot east of Placerville. They have indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor terrace is second to none as views go. Once again a totally satisfying experience all the way around.Don't forget to get a couple of pieces of the homemade apple strudel to go, it will knock your socks off. Well done!
This is probably the best deli in Placerville for healthy food. It is hidden away in a small shopping center. Itâs a good place for organic wraps and sandwiches. Just about all the meats are organic too. You choose the ingredients, then pay for whatever you choose. We got two beautiful sandwiches. One was tri tip, the other, ham and cheese. We also had very good sun tea. Iâd call first to make sure itâs open.
Garrett and his crew are super nice and have a wide variety of coffees and teas. They also hold public events (ie; paint parties, meet local police) sometimes if you prefer to sit and chat. My go to coffee place on the way to work
