Chili Joeâs is small, fun, twenty seat restaurant in west Petaluma. We are serving up spicy, comfort food including all things chili, as well as tasty burgers, and franks. We also have ice-cold beer and local Sonoma County wines. We are open for lunch Wed
For those of you that are craving excellent chili, this is the place for you! For those of you that havenât ever experienced chili prepared by a true expert with a passion in the art of chili-making, this is the place to try! Itâs the real deal! The San Antonio Bowl of Red, the primal Texas beef chili, would delight the most particular of Texas chili aficionados. Order the beans on the side, they are excellent. The marinated Santa Fe Carne Adovada is delicious and obviously prepared by someone skilled in the art of southwestern cooking. We have also enjoyed the LA style chili and the jalapeño corn bread. We look forward to trying the pork Green-Go Chili Verde on our next visit. For those customers more comfortable ordering familiar food, the chili hamburger and the chili frank are both top sellers and look really delicious. A Shiner Bock goes particularly well with this type of food. Mark and Wendy make everyone welcome and they obviously take great care to make sure that their customers are well satisfied. Mark (middle name Joe) is obviously an accomplished chef. The website indicates that he was trained at the famed Stanford Court Fournouâs Ovens in San Francisco on Nob Hill and worked for many years as the banquet chef at the Petaluma Sheraton Hotel. We are very surprised that Chili Joes has not been reviewed before on Trip Advisor. This small eatery is full of wonderful surprises and is highly recommended! So happy you are enjoying the food! Thanks for being an awesome customer!

This is an attractive downtown location right on the river. Even on a cool, overcast day, it was a pleasant time outside. Extensive menu, with both lunch and breakfast items. Two draft beers go along with your sandwich selection, which runs the gamut from wraps to Ruebenâs. I had the chicken salad wrap with cottage fries - delicious. Prices on the moderate side. Nice artwork on the walls adds to the appeal. Sure wish they would do something with the trestle once and for all. Itâs an eyesore for downtown Petaluma.

Lively downtown cafe for full breakfast, lunch, and weekend brunch, house made soups. Exceptional in-house bakery turns out signature scones, and daily specials, including gluten-free options. Full array of loose tea, locally roasted coffee and full espre
A friend recommended this place for a lunch meeting and we were not disappointed by the baked goods. On street parking .. Note: they close early - 2 pm- so don't plan on too late a lunch!

Connected here with a local friend for an intimate conversation. We've done this before and still appreciate the good sandwiches, salads, paninis, and entrees. I continue to also be impressed with the community spirit of this cafe - with its many activities for writers, poets, painters, speakers, elderly...

We didnât know where to eat in Petaluma, and so we parked downtown and walked around. We stumbled upon Cafe Zazzle. What a treat! Very friendly service, and prompt. My wife had the Mediterranean Wrap, it was freshly made and almost too big for her. I had the beef fajita and noodle dish, which was very filling and tasty. The noodles didnât taste like the had been sitting around in a pot all afternoon, the broth was just spicy enough, and there was plenty of beef. We enjoyed our meal very much, and will certainly stop by here next time we are in town.

Stopped here for lunch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The service was quick. The food was okay - unfortunately kind of tasteless. I wonder if it may have been better if we had breakfast. The place was clean, and like I said the staff was great, just wish the food had been tastier.

We went here for dinner on our last night of vacation and are glad we did! My husband ordered the duck, a new dish they debuted last week and it was amazing. Also the waiter was knowledgeable about gluten free modifications to the menu which is alway really helpful. The decor is unique and romantic.

The Bistro is run by Stephanie and her team. Every food item is made from scratch every day in the early hours. It is French-inspired and the decoration also picks up the Paris theme. It is open for breakfast and lunch only with many local regulars. The chalk board has the daily specials and I always go for these for lunch. The bistro is authentic and original. Tip generously if you like the food, the place and the people.
