Well a bit surprised with this cafe, prices reasonably cheap, food tasty but not enough on the plate, I was disappointed with part of my meal but for the price we paid I can't complain. I don't often put negative feedback on as I always try to see the good.First waitress was very friendly and extremely helpful. Second one who was older was very miserable, unwelcoming and very matter of fact.Won't be returning only because of the unwelcoming attitude of the second waitress, didn't get her name but she was a lot older than the first one.Plus its a cash only place which in this day and age is unusual to say the least.

A great little find. Unusual eclectic dishes, lots of yummy eggs and sauces. Love the funky interior. Service friendly. Wow this lady knows how to cook with love. Now open in the evenings, well worth a visit. Vegetarian. Great additions to Penryn.

English Coffee House serving speciality teas, locally roasted fair-trade coffee, homemade cakes and the tastiest cream teas in Falmouth
A lovely coffee shop with an incredibly friendly staff. Both upstairs with its bow window and penny farthing and the cosy, welcoming room downstairs were equally charming. A variety of drinks were offered but we chose the Cornish Clotted Cream tea, even though it was mid-morning and weâd only come in for a drink. Thoroughly recommended.

Dollyâs is a tea room and wine bar in the centre of Falmouth which opened in July 2011 in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. During the day it is a traditional tea room serving illy coffee, teapigs, cream teas and cakes. It then transforms in the ev
We had the Traditional Cream Tea which at £5.95 and only one scone is on the expensive side. However, the fruit scones were warmed and fresh, the black currant jam delicious (we purchased a jar). Not being dog lovers we didnât appreciate the 2 residents plus additional visitors but it appears we are in the minority. The decor was authentic, quirky and colourful and the bone China tea service was appreciated. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There seems to be a shortage of tea rooms in Falmouth and so we were very glad to find Dollyâs!

It was a cold and somewhat damp walk around the reservoir and the café was a welcome sight as we re-approached the carpark, we were hoping for a warm reception which we received. The café is fairly basic, and the selection a little limited, but what was on offer was fresh, delicious and served with a friendly and welcoming manner. I would not say "cheap", in fact for a slice of cake and a (small) hot chocolate, the £5 in my hand was not enough, but the cake, chocolate and welcome were all warm, and my dogs were welcomed so that's a bonus. The walk itself was mostly good. The paths are mostly well maintained (I say 'mostly' because there were a couple of muddy stretches, but it had been raining recently and that was to be expected. There were small bridges over culverts and overall we will certainly be going back. The views all around are spectacular (see pictures), and the Wild Vibes cafe is just to the right of the dam, central to the panorama. It costs a couple of quid for the carpark, but apparently, that is used for maintenance - I've have preferred £1, for 2 hours (we were there just over an hour, including walking all around the lake, over the dam and having a drink). I'd go more often (= more business to the cafe) if the carpark were a tad cheaper.

Four of us ate here twice. The sandwiches we had for lunch were excellent and the crab sandwich was a real hit. Our second visit was for a cream tea and it was really good and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Our trips to Cornwall are not complete without our traditional Cafe Mylor visits. We have had breakfast, lunch and cream teas (not at once!) and can't recommend it more highly. Relaxed atmosphere and according to our daughter the best nachos in Cornwall!!! Thanks as ever see you soon....Claire thank you so much for taking the time to post your review - We are clearly delighted you enjoy visits and we commend your daughter for her exceptional taste too!! What a lovely experience! A group of us veterans meet monthly at different venues for breakfast and this was Decembers venue. We booked for 8 to have a 'Christmas breakfast' and turned up to a table laid with party hats, poppers and Christmas crackers! The food was excellent and fast and was hot when it came to the table along with our bucks fizz! The service was with a smile which you don't always get in other venues. If you want a cafe with a view then this is not the place for you but if you want a good reasonably priced breakfast in a good atmosphere and service with a smile then this is the place! Oh and there is FREE parking right outside. I also don't consider this to be a 'truckers cafe' just a tucked away cafe!! keep up the good work ladies and see you again soon!It was lovely to meet you all on our first Christmas party breakfast of 2017. It was also nice to have met some of our ex-servicemen and women.I am glad that you enjoyed yourself, we certainly enjoyed having you in our Cafe. Thank you for your review. See you all again soon!

My mum and I visited Fuel today and a long discussion about which eatery we wanted to visit for lunch - Falmouth isn't short or cafes/restaurants after all. Mum has the kedgeree, and I couldn't choose! Fortunately, their children's menu is awesome - choose anything from the menu and they'll do a half portion, for half the price. Brilliant for children, but even better for indecisive adults. I had a warm goats cheese salad and lasagna. Both were delicious. The staff were really friendly and the prices were reasonable - I certainly didn't feel like I'd been ripped off for the amount and quality of food we received. We agreed that Fuel had been an excellent choice!

We last ate here two years ago and this place just gets better. This is our second visit, this time as a last night together for a while as Fal Uni beckons our eldest, so what better than a visit to this excellent restaurant. Not disappointed all our meals were superb, my Spanish fish stew was absolutely magnificent full of flavours, very large indeed. The mussels were big, plump and cooked just right, whilst the falafel and chicken burgers were tasty and filling. All meals are delivered to your table in style, very nicely dressed. The service was impeccable, our main waitress was attentive and helpful. In general the place was spotless, relaxing and sits nicely on the quay side. Outside you can sit and enjoy a drink watching the boats bobbing up and down in the last of the evening sun.
