According to the 2010 census, the population of the town is 41,011, an increase from 29,700 in 2000 census. Dubbed the "Upscale Tech Mecca" of Southern Arizona by the Arizona Daily Star newspaper, Oro Valley is home to over 10 high tech firms and has a median household income nearly 50% higher than the U.S. median. The town is located approximately 110 miles (180 km) southeast of the state capital of Phoenix.

Stopped in with some friends for breakfast. We tried a variety of entrees and even a couple of specialty drinks. Everyone loved their meal. Service was very friendly and attentive. Prices were in line with what we'd expect.

This is a great rest stop just off the loop. We had a sandwich and coffee. Friendly staff. Much too cold inside. The air conditioning could easily be turned down a few degrees. This is apparently the largest Starbucks in Arizona and California.

My wife and I took a friend to the Starbucks at the Safeway-Marana Store at 9100 North Silverbell in Marana, AZ, and the coffee was weak but still bitter. The flavored coffee had little taste and the service was not up to any standards that I would expect. The staff was more interested in having their own lunch break and were very confused.I would never recommend this location of Starbucks for anything, there are many other better choices nearby - even some other Starbucks.
