Seattle style cafe, serving all types of fine espresso drinks with beans sourced from a local artisan roaster, and home made American food. Owned by an American from Seattle and his Japanese wife. English spoken by all staff.

First: Great Capuccinos. Second: Wonderful and friendly owners. The husband is a transplant from USA and steered us in the right direction for the best restaurants. Last: not only is the coffee good, but the food is good too. Cute place on a pedestrian street not too far from the big market. Worth your while to seek out.

女一人で行ける雰囲気かどうか心配でしたが、他のお客さんの席との間隔が結構広めだったので、あまり人目を気にせず寛ぐことができました。ランチプレートと飲み物を頼みました。量はちょうど良かったですが男性だと少なく感じるかもしれません。味は美味しかったですが、独特のスパイスやハーブが効いていて、ちょっと癖のある味付けなので、苦手な人は苦手かもしれません。他のお客さんは、若い男性二人組、カップル、お子様連れのママグループ、スーツ姿の男性など、いろいろな方がいました。子どもが遊べるスペースや、お子様メニュー、トイレにはオムツ替えのスペースもあり、お子様連れの方に優しいお店だと思いました。ただ、行ったのが土曜の昼ということもあってか、お子さんの人数が多くて、ちょっと騒がしかったです。静かに寛ぎたい場合は夜などに行くのが良さそうです。

早朝から兼六園を観光して、次の目的地は九谷焼。その途中、住宅街の中に新しいコメダがありました。朝だったこともあり、ウインナーコーヒーを飲みながらガイドブックを読むいい時間でした。

手が込んだ料理の割には手ごろなお値段で提供いただいて大変満足です。大学が近いのでボリュームも結構あります。モーニングは4種類からランチは3種類から選びます。夫婦で切り盛りされていて、奥さんの自慢の料理をいただけます。一品一品手作りなので時間に余裕があるときに行きましょう。じっくり味わってください。雰囲気がもいいし、ぜひご夫婦との会話も楽しんでください。
