Stripped back honest dining and drinking, an all-encompassing cafe and bar focused on local day-to-day trade and delivering a unique dining experience through great food, staff and entertainment. The Easy Breeze offers high attention to detail and the pre
What a great bar with lovely people. Stayed in Bowness for 2 nights with my daughters and their partners and went here both nights. Great live entertainment from a talented guy on the piano and attentive, friendly service. I promised to go back and I will.

This little café is there to be appreciated. Full of trinkets and goods, your eyes wander to the hats and clocks that adorn the walls (as well as some items for sale). But take some time to savour the food on offer and try to resist a cake to follow!! I had the raebit with a veggie topping and wished I had more time for that cake but had to dash. Must leave more time for cake next time. And a gorgeous homemade lemonade too

We are one of the smallest independent coffee shops and cafes in Bowness and operate as a two-man team, as such we do not offer fast food, just delicious food served as fast as we can! All of our dishes are prepared on site to order and we pride ourselves
Simple menu, but was fantastic. Between myself and two of our kids we had three of the flatbreads. Chilli flatbread and falafel flatbread were both incredible and the feta olive was also really good. My wife is Celiac so needs gluten free and she also quite enjoyed.Really glad you enjoyed the food and hope you found the sign!

Coffee House, Restaurant & Bar. Serving the best all-day brunch in Bowness, as well as locally sourced craft beer, ale and cocktails. Locally roasted artisanal coffee and only the best ingredients from the Lake District.
Popped in for a bite to eat and itâs a lovely little cafe. Would definitely recommend the club sandwich, although everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious!

All our food is lovingly produced on the premises using local produce from suppliers including Higginsons Meat, McClures of Windermere, Grange Bakery Bread
We came to this lovely, welcoming looking cafe met by friendly staff. The food was gorgeous, simple bacon roll with ciabatta bread for me and English breakfast for my husband. My daughter got a great, filling lunch option (lovely bread, cheese, jelly, orange squash in a nice cup, crisps and a little cake). It was such a nice environment with the free WiFi also (bonus!) and Iâd visit again for the friendly staff and a chance to try the desert menu.

The panoramic view of Windermere and surrounding hills is really beautiful... making it even more of a shame that the quality of the food was so poor - stale, hard scones, left uncovered on a warm day in July, with flies buzzing around the cafe. One measly teabag in a pot of tea for two just isn't adequate. Very, very disappointed - and no wonder there was only one other table with customers when we visited. An opportunity wasted.

While away the time between trains by having lunch or a snack here : my scones and jam were delicious - there were four varieties of scone that day, Nina's tomato and basil soup fine, although there must be a glut of it locally (or maybe a special offer), as every place we went to in the Lakes had it as "soup of the day"

Harry's Cafe Bar is a delightful cafe full of antiques and character, situated within Yew Tree Barn, a huge Lake District barn, home to WRS Architectural Antiques, Galleries and studios. Take a seat in the stylish quirky cafe and choose from the menu or s
Called in here unexpectedly for lunch. You do now have to wait to be seated. Unfortunately fireplace area with comfy chairs is no longer there but more tables and chairs have been put in their place. Food and drinks excellent. Staff friendly.Thank you very much for your appreciation following lunch with us. You are right that it's a shame we have had to lose the comfy area, but despite our previous expansion we still required more seating for people to enjoy the cafe food and drink, for which we need proper tables and chairs. (Waiting to be seated just means that the staff are aware of new customers, and ensures fairness in the order of orders!) We appreciate you taking the time to review us, and hope to see you again.
