We came here looking for a quaint diner in a beautiful area and were very disappointed. Our first hint should have been the dirtiness of the dining area. We really should have walked out before ordering. Next, I specifically asked for "real butter" and was given a glob of some unidentifiable substance. When I told the waitress that it didn't look like butter, she actually argued with me. My husband took a few bites of his food and declared it substandard. We paid the bill and left. Never again!

Met friends for lunch at First Watch and returned the following week when we were in the Brookfield area. Both times the service and food was excellent The menu offers a variety of breakfast and lunch entrees which offer some diversified and healthy alternatives to the usual fare. They also offer seasonal specials and drinks, however, no liquor is served. There are many eateries in this very busy shopping area and both times the restaurant was filled and customers waiting for service. The food is always delicious and attractively presented. We have eaten at several different First Watch restaurants in Florida and have always been pleased. We would recommend this one in Brookfield as well.

Found this place in New Berlin and stopped in around 10:30 am. The place was nicely decorated and had at least half of the tables full.My wife went with the standard eggs, bacon and smashed Yukon gold potatoes. I went with the Belgian waffle with eggs, smashed Yukon gold potatoes and bacon.Everything was great. The bacon is thick cut and crispy. The waffle was better than good. It had some type of Madagascar Vanilla in it that made all the difference in the world. The "Yukes" were Yellow Yukon Potatoes that were very good.The prices were a little high, but when you use all quality ingredients, the price is merited.
