Central Napier one block from marine parade this cafe delivers on all accounts.Beautiful decor and it has outdoor seating.Coffee is excellent and the breakfasts although on pricey side are big and not only look good but taste good.Money well spent excellent chef.The decor is good and waiting staff not only friendly but accommodating.Highly recommend.

Had not been here for a while, so thought we would have another go. Coffee superb. I had the brioche with bacon and asked for syrup on the side and other fresh fruit instead of banana. Hubby had Dutch scrambled eggs. Being Dutch myself I had never heard of that dish b4.My brioche was lovely, would have preferred fresh berries rather than a compoteScramled eggs very fluffy and tasty but rest not very flavoursome

As part of our walk around our Ahuriri Walk we decided this looked the best place to stop for a snack. Yes it was. They serve very good Mocha and Flat White coffees. The vege cheese stacks are a great tasty filler.

Nice atmosphere, plenty of space. Nice cappuccino with chocolate. Eggs benadicts was very tasty. My friend has a large breakfast with plenty of bacon, eggs, etc. Overall a very nice experience and a good start of the day.

I recently went along to the Art Deco Cafe with hubby as it's quite local to where we live and we hadn't been there for years (since it was the River Cafe). I loved the atmosphere and all the different spaces (both indoors and out) where you could sit/eat. They are dog friendly too which was nice as we were looking for somewhere we could go with our dog. As well as being a great space the menu was also impressive with lots of choice. The service was friendly, although from memory a little slow. I had something like a BLAT but can't recall exactly what it was called. Hubby had eggs bene which was ok but with terrible hollandaise apparently. If it weren't for that I could have given it a 5. They also had a great wine list and a great selection of delicious looking cabinet food. We will definitely be backThank you for your review...Our hollandaise is made on premise, not the packet hollandaise you would experience or probably used too at most other cafes.

Found this by parking outside and went in for a meal as handy. Well worth the visit, as food delicious and coffee pretty good as well. Good menu and cabinet food with good service.

We had a lot of different people serving us so did not know who our server was. Things were a little slow and the place was not busy. Stopped in for lunch while walking by and had a delicious light lunch. We had the corn fritters and the mushrooms on toast with a salad - all great but the corn fritters were exceptional, light and aromatic instead of the sometimes stodgy disappointment they can be. These would be the best we've ever enjoyed. Generous serves, a great drink selection, and lovely service. Absolutely recommended.

Cafe DMP has lots of tables, good coffee and great fresh food. Had a coffee and cake one day and a wonderful breakfast the next. Even during the busy Art Deco weekend they had speedy, efficient service. Easy to recommend.
