OK..........clean, bright place with a good layout and easy parking around the area. Service was reasonable although why does it take 30 minutes to serve pho? Everything is pre cooked and ready...........just dip the noodles in the hot water, pour into the broth and add the garnishes.Vietnamese rolls were OK but the Pho was a little disappointing, not the depth of flavour one gets in Vietnam. All was edible and pleasant just not awe inspiring which pho can be if presented with all subtle tastes.NOT OK.................staff that take money without a please or thank you.
Went to the advertised address, place does not exist. Also on the directory within the shopping centre but not where stated. Assuming it's already closed or moved, nothing online is updated. Don't waste your time
As a result of my constant statement to family and friends, 'I just want to make jam', and with the encouragement and support of friends, I embarked on a journey of food production, to combine my passion for cooking genuine food, and sharing it with other
We arrange business lunches for our staff monthly, and enjoying going to different places. it was a little later when we arrived, but they were still serving lunch. We placed our order and sat down, it was quite cold out the back. Lovely staff brought out our drinks and meals. We all enjoyed our meals, lasagnes, beef burgers, and toasties. Lovely local and fresh produce and meals also for sale. Well worth a visit! Thanks so much for your review. We are certainly working on our heating in the back room - being a previous woollen mill it's a little chilly sometimes. We installed a fireplace this winter and are hoping to make it even cosier for the next winter!

Nalou Kitchen is a modern dining experience with a from scratch mentality to cooking. We have a wide range of menu items and are happy to cater to individual requirements or lifestyles. We love all things food and coffee. Using high quality beans, itâs su
Having been to Nalou by recommendation previously, Tania and I decided to try another lunch, however I was disappointed, from a luke warm coffee that was nicely decorated with some clever art, to the waitress wearing her phone under her arm in her Bra strap (a sign of the times) and an ok Croissant, the lunch experience fell far short of expectation. The premises is nicely decorated with an attractive feel and some Arty timberwork was the only plus today.

We were in Mt Gambier over the Christmas/ New Year period, and as always at this time of year, it is not always easy to find places open when you need them. Our first visit to the Whistling Cat was earlyish in the morning, when we were hanging out for coffee and some breakfast. This cafe was the only one we could find open as we wandered about, so we gave it a try.It is very quirky inside, with lots of different 'antiqueish' tables and chairs, and esoterica various, but we thought it had a nice 'feel' to it.There was a lady behind the counter who was very nice and friendly, and is a fixture in the place, being there every time we visited. The coffee was delicious. I love my long black, and this was spot on.We were both impressed with the food. Nicely cooked every time, and portion sizes were pretty generous.Service was quite good. We didn't have to wait long for our meals. We tried another cafe closer to our accommodation, which was satisfactory, but in general we returned to the Whistling Cat, because we liked the proprietor, the food and the vibe, and we could always be sure it would be open, as this cafe tends to open earlier and shut later than other places.Definitely recommended.

PRESTO EATERY Serving 'Real Food' + locally Roasted Coffee- our own blend 'The girls' open 6 days a week from 8am Breakfast + lunch along with healthy alternatives for everyone A vibing place to be!
We decided to eat here on our day trip to Mt Gambier from Naracoorte and it was a bitter cold day so we were pleasantly surprised to have a choice of ready made stews, curries and Satayâs as well as the usual cafe menu. It was a bustling place but we managed to find a cozy seat near the fireplace(seats quite a few)After glancing over the menu we decided on the eatery choices. Good value. A bowl of whole meal rice and two dishes $15.00 I had the pumpkin & basil ragout and chicken satay. Hubby had the beef & vegetable ragout and chicken satay. Both nice. Wine available here by glass or bottle breakfast or lunch as well as milkshakes, healthy smoothies, soft drinks and barista coffees. The girl at the eatery section was lovely (Queens Birthday PH) and an asset to the owner of this place!
