I had the crabby patty and it was a huge portion of lump crabmeat that was cooked perfectly. The side of onion rings was amazing and a regular side, not a premium side. The menu has vegetarian, gluten free and vegan and has a large selection.

My wife and I happened upon this very cool cafe this afternoon while shopping in Mount Dora. Let me start by saying the coffee was FANTASTIC. I ordered a flat white double espresso with sugar free hazelnut. I paired it with a delectable from the fresh baked goods (brought in from outside the cafe): a caramel apple pastry that was simple and hit the hunger spot. This cafe is just getting started (4th week) but we anticipate it will thrive as people discover the richness and flavors within. Make it a point early morning, mid day, or even after dinner to skip that bogus overpriced coffee at your dinner spot (or worst yet dunkinbucks) and savor what's being brewed at 144 w 5th street. There's more to come than coffee; asked the owner for details while he's satisfying your java fix. I was pleasantly surprised to experience this little diner-type restaurant. Food was plentiful and tasty! Service was good, though a little slow. Very much a family establishment! Inexpensive, too.

The restaurant is hard to find unless you know where you are going and we ended up here because a member of our party is vegan, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised, the curry chicken salad was tasty made so with the warm homemade bread and those delicious homemade pita chips that can be habit forming.Both the atmosphere and service were good, nice lunch spot that we will come to again and again.

Entire upstairs of house on main drag in Mount Dora FL. Gigantic stairway up to this joint. Not handicap friendly. Seat yourself at this establishment. Serves, sandwich's, coffee, and salads. Ordered Salmon salad, and a chicken Caesar. My chicken was super salty, and the salmon was fishy and precooked. My lemonade was awful had to return it. Over all the restaurant /coffee shop was not our cup of tea. We will not be returning

This is the restaurant for Simpsons Bed & Breakfast. You get a voucher and you can get anything on their menu. The people are friendly and you can find someone to talk to if you have the desire or just enjoy a quiet breakfast. The food was really delicious and fresh. They don't have fried or scrambled eggs but they have eggs in their sandwiches.The prices were very reasonable. I would definitely go there for breakfast without a voucher!

This is a charming little place in the midst of Mt. Dora. Definitely not a chain or some 'new & trendy' place. As a bit of a breakfast snob, I actually appreciated the little wait we had; meaning, there was good reason. Our breakfast was fresh, hot, more-than-ample and a great value. Service was very friendly and attentive. Too bad we don't live closer, yet the next time in Mt. Dora we will make it a point of revisiting.
