Reviews on Cafe food in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, South Africa. Mossel Bay is a harbour town of about 130,000 people on the Southern Cape (or Garden Route) of South Africa. It is an important tourism and farming region of the Western Cape Province. Mossel Bay lies 400 kilometres east of the country's seat of parliament, Cape Town (which is also the capital city of the Western Cape Province), and 400 km west of Port Elizabeth, the largest city in the Eastern Cape Province. The older parts of the town occupy the north-facing side of the Cape St Blaize Peninsula, whilst the newer suburbs straddle the Peninsula and have spread eastwards along the sandy shore of the Bay.

Coffee is good. The French toast is good and the weekly specials for pensioners is a good treat. Also nice for a take away home.
This cafè has great burgers and Prego rolls. Overlooking Mossel Bay and onto Seal Island, you can sit for hours and enjoy the view. In October, I saw whales from this spot! Bring your binoculars! Food is good, service is great and prices are very reasonable. This was a great find!
What a cozy little place. We went there for dinner. They have the most amazing pastas and the best milkshakes ever. The staff are friendly and helpfull. During the day you ahve a awesome view over the sea.

It's so nice to find new eateries in our little community of Mossel Bay! Object Cafe is on the main drag, on Marsh Street, which makes it easy to find. The restaurant space is ample, airy and charming. There are many paintings on the wall for sale, from local artists. We received a warm welcome, and we quickly made ourselves at home. We ordered a Cappuccino and a delicious drink appeared quickly. We ordered breakfast. Portions are very generous and the presentation is very nice.We enjoyed the food and the service.Sterkte aan jou

Delicious confectionary. We enjoyed the croissants. The service is very poor and the waiters are not keen to speed up the service. The place is very busty during peak times and they have a wide variety delicious food and cakes. The hamburgers is not very tasty. I was really dissapointed with the garlic bread.I love the Portuguese milktart. The best. The scones are also delicious

A cosy bistro; gift shop and general dealer with beautiful views of the Outeniqua mountains in Ruiterbos on the Garden Route. Wood-fire pizzas and roosterkoek with toppings and fillings to suite every taste. Roosterkoek is a traditional South African brea
We previously stopped for astro cookies which were so good we decided to celebrate a 50th birthday here. From the warm fireplace and great ambience to the excellent food, this was the discovery of the decade! The coffee was rich and good, the pizzas thin based and delicious and we ended off with carrot cake made especially for us - moist and decadent. We will certainly be back every time we are in the area. This is Mossel bay's little gem. Thanks to Anita and her team for making this a memorable birthday!Dear Rosanne, it gives us great pleasure that you enjoyed your time with us. Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to share with the tripadvisor community. It was lovely having you guys and we are looking forward to see you again in December, hopefully you guys get to spot the elusive bird!

Called in to Carola Ann's for a quick lunch hoping to find something on the menu that wasn't pizza or burgers. Opted for the roasted vegetable dish which was absolutely delicious. Specials included a huge slice of home made quiche with salad which also went down a treat. Travelling in a group on a fixed schedule so unable to go back but looked like it would also be a great little place to stop for coffee and cake - the muffins on the counter were definitely calling to me!
