Saddle River Cafe is a game-changer for the restaurant scene in Bergen County. This all-day cafe, a sister restaurant to the top-rated Saddle River Inn, serves breakfast lunch and dinner in a bright airy space that is transformed at night with dim lighting and candles on every table. The wait staff is professional and attentive to diners' needs. Everything I've ordered has been delicious - the salmon and avocado toast and crabcake sandwich are standouts and guests can "bring their own" even for breakfast (think mimosas!). Once you go, you'll definitely be back again and again!

Had breakfast, dry eggs, burnt potates( which we both complained about and still got billed for) rashers overcooked, bug in my orange juice, my wife ordered the irish sausage, they were okay but definitely not IRISH, got the check and then we're told after I presented my credit card, they don't accept any. Any restaurant that does not take plastic, gives advance notice, either on the menu or a sign elsewhere.
